Next Talent? He is already established LOI batsmen/player in Bangladesh.
Only way for him is up. Providing he keeps his work ethics up, keeps training hard and doesn't get comfortable/complacent like some many have in the past have.

I watch that 80 runs innings almost once a week... such is his charisma in batting... I used to watch Soumyas 90 against SA too but this one was something else... he was unlike anyone and did everything he wanted... basically played god there today... a special talent and a special innings... hope we see one like this on NZ... even half of this would do.... class apart from anyone in bd right now

While the likes of Soumya, Jubair has dissappeared Sabbir had risen up.
What was the difference really between Soumya and Sabbir? Well what I noticed was that Sabbir was a confident player who put in extra effort outside the field. I dont know about Soumya but he seemed to lack confidence in everything.
Sabbir had a poor start to his T20I career. I was at the match when he debuted, he played a shocking innings. However, he never looked back. He worked hard on his game, looked at his flaws.
If you watch his innings its not about some slogging only. Watch his cut shots, the cheeky shots, the cover drives with power, you can feel that he has improved his armoury.

Wasn't he also around for the Asian games cup in China, 2010?
I can't remember that clearly

sabbir played very well innings, luck was in his side, played his own way, it was his day. but trying to dragging down player like soumya was beyond my comprehension here. soumya is another kind of gem he just need a confidential good knock and bit luck, add mosaddek too, yes mosaddek, he will be one of real beast batsman soon.

I expect to him score a huge one against New Zealand. Their grounds are tiny. Needs to put more price on his wicket though at International level.

The awkward moment when the banned poster's account gets deleted and the second-in-line poster gets bumped up as the thread opener.

Sabbir is such a powerful hitter
congratulations
If I compare Sabbir with Soumya, I think Sabbir is smarter, plays all over the ground, understands his role and plays according to the situation.
Soumya is more elegant, more effortless stroke play but he depends heavily on "boundary balls" , he struggles if he does not get it in his zone.
It is disappointing to see that SS does not have a plan B, if it is not going his way he does not know how to make another way.
Same happening to NAsir but Nasir is no where near as gifted as these two, and also Nasir does not get enough opportunity to bat up the order.

Cleanest hitter of the ball in our country. His shots are nice to watch and when he is song, no one can stop him. Good to see him growing and growing every day.

He is from the book of AbDV and Kholi
I hope he gets to play with Kholi or AbDv soon, ideally in IPL. That will do world of good to his batting iA

He's definitely a part of the future but remember this was still just BPL, let's see him do it internationally before getting too carried away.

Same thought. The chances he gave would be taken in real games. (WTF was A-A doing at point?)
He's good, the hype is real but he's still functioning only at 10% rn.

Most greats say their personal accolade doesn't matter when the team loses. Team first always.
Do you want him to see as one of the greats in cricket? We are no longer the door mats that once we were. Our fans attitude needs to change as well. Then focus on the win (loss in this case).
