২ অগাস্ট ইংল্যান্ড পৌঁছাবে ‘এ’ দল। তিন সপ্তাহের সফরে আটটি ওয়ানডে খেলবে তারা। এখনো দলের অধিনায়ক ঘোষণা করেনি বিসিবি।

এই দলে টেস্ট খেলার অভিজ্ঞতা নেই কেবল শামসুর রহমান, মার্শাল আইয়ুব, ফরহাদ রেজা ও আল আমিনের। এদের মধ্যে শামসুর আর ফরহাদের আবার আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচ খেলার অভিজ্ঞতা আছে।

৬ অগাস্ট হ্যাম্পশায়ারের বিপক্ষে ‘এ’ দলের প্রথম ম্যাচ। এরপর ৯ অগাস্ট ইয়র্কশায়ার, ১১ অগাস্ট ল্যাঙ্কাশায়ার, ১৪ অগাস্ট নটিংহ্যামশায়ার ও ১৬ অগাস্ট তাদের প্রতিপক্ষ ওরস্টারশায়ার। সবশেষে ২০, ২২ ও ২৪ অগাস্ট ইংল্যান্ড লায়ন্স দলের বিপক্ষে তিন ম্যাচের ওয়ানডে সিরিজ খেলবে ‘এ’ দল।

অক্টোবরে নিউজিল্যান্ডের বিপক্ষে ঘরোয়া সিরিজের আগে কোনো খেলা নেই এই সফরকে অনেক গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছে বিসিবি।

No Ash?? Bhua team....

Strong team but Dont understand why they did not include Shabbir and kept Sajedul as Stand by. Sajedul could have been hanndy in English condition and Shabbir is our future. This was an ideal series to give him exposure..

Looking forward to see how Al Amin performs. I have been hearing good things about this guy..

If any national discard selected for A team means they are still in contention for main squad.

bhai ami apnar sathe akmot, imrul er to BD team ai thakar kotha na, infact he shouldn't be in any current team, thats a insult to the man's talent, he should have been the part of all concurring windies team of 70s or aussie team 0f 2000s

surprised to see al amin in the squad, didn't think he was on the radar, but at least we'll get a better idea of what he's about. reckon there were better options than ziaur, reza, and raqibul. not a fan of shamsur and imrul but understand why they're in the squad. the national team players in there will hopefully take this seriously and get some valuable experience in foreign conditions otherwise they will be a wasted selection.

Farhad Kallis Reza gets picked yet again. I understand he is a solid performer in the domestic league but he looks hopeless and out of depth in the international games.
I will be happy if Ayub, Anamul, Mominul and Shamsur grabs this opportunity and performs

In first BPL I saw Al Amin first. He bowls around 130 with good LL. Happy to see him here.
