May I take this opportunity to ask all smokers (and quitters) what age did you first started smoking? What made you do it in the first place (i.e. peer pressure, enjoyment, to look 'cool', etc)..?

i started smoking when i was in 7th grade. that was just one puff or tow in every 2-3 months. but become regular in 8th, gave up at 9th grade, didn't smoke for 1.5 years then started again in 1997. smoked heavily till 2001. had bronchitises and got better and started again. in 2002 gave up again but for 3 months.
but never thought smoking was cool and don't know why did i start smoking.
