Default BNS No More!

Bangabandhu National Stadium will not host any International cricket match after this season, after March 01, 2005.

So far, Bangladesh's test records in this stadium is all losses, and just 1 draw due to rain.

Will Bangladesh be able to write the history of BNS differently this time, in this season - the last season for International cricket at the No. 1 National Stadium, before it is handed over to Football?

Bangladesh's ODI record at this ground is also pretty similar to Tests - all losses, no win, may be 1 No Result match due to rain.

Cricket and BNS could not be thought separately. The history of BD cricket is saturated with the history of BNS. Tomorrow the cricket venue is going to move, but we can never forget the good and bad memories of cricket, that took place in BNS.
We never know, may be in future during some occassion like intenational meet or championship, BNS again will be used as a temporary venue of cricket.
Although BNS is no more for cricket, but one thing I should say, this big bowl was mainly a cricket ground with its big oval outfield, neither a football ground, nor a ground for atheletics.

I am really upset for this unavoidable occourance. This is nothing but a crazy idea. BNS has earned its reputation around the world as a cricket venue, nothing else.

So they have reversed the football and cricket stadiums. Why? Is Mirpur a lot smaller ground than BNS
