Default Marriage Counselling

Listen guys this thread is not a joke nor is to seek attention. it is not seeking any advice, frankly i dont need them. this is counselling...a space to just say whats on your mind without judgement or interruptions... this is counselling, but free rather than paying 150/hr.

basically i been married for 1 and a half year and it has been horrible...and i just hate marriage. i feel like someone put me in a oxygen less chamber and locked me inside, its suffocating.... i wasnt ready for marriage.

i dont know how you guys do this.....or why ppl even get married...its horrible.

to be cintinued....i will tell you whats wrong with marriage in later posts.. but young guys and girls with potential, please dont make mistakes.... be single and be happy... life is beautiful that way....

Before marriage, you are a Tiger.
After marriage, you become a goat.
Banglae ache na, "Biye to chagolei kore" !!

Slowly, you shed your outer skin and turn like this:

And then you sing this

For me, marriage is not a problem, the problem lies in choosing the right (!) partner ! And the problem starts when you start questioning yourself what is right for me !?

What is the purpose of marriage? Just to follow sunnah, ritual, to do sth lawfully, status, create own identity in the form of a new being or something else?
If the goal is clear and of course also the goal of the partner with mutual sincere understanding then i think there should not be any problem in unity. But often media and other issues derail our set goals and we are driven by fantasy desires. But one thing you are right- life is more beautiful being a single.

One of my friends is getting married next week, I'll send him the link to this thread.

By thee way, given an option between:
1. Living in with your girlfriend and not get married, and
2. Get married and not live with your wife,

which one would you choose?

Hint: There is just ONE correct answer.

Why not? I can get married and live with my girlfriend. Though I didn't necessarily mean 1 and 2 both at the same time. Right now I prefer option 1, but who knows after marriage I might well prefer option 2, even more so if I marry my current girlfriend.
