Hosts triumph over Jordan

Bangladesh will meet Turkmenistan today in their second match at the same venue.

Ten nations split into two groups are taking part in this prestigious event. UAE, Vietnam, Bahrain, Yemen and Iraq are in Group A while hosts Bangladesh, Qatar, Myanmar, Jordan and Turkmenistan make Group B.

Alhamdulillah. Bangladesh unbeaten champion as they beat Myanmar by 2-1 today. The ticket to next level of Davis Cup was confirmed yesterday.

A close fought series against Myanmar. We came out on top at the end.

We lost the 1st single 4-6, 4-6, won the second one 6-1, 6-3. The doubles was eventful. Won the 1st one 6-2, lost the second 4-6, won the third 6-4. Now we move to stage 3.
