Jisaan amazing stats and very well complied. MohammedC, I didn't realize that I had posted in the same thread too. I just was searching for a thread for Nazmul hossain Milon and thought this was the thread it represented him the most. It has been 4 years of powerful hitting and he is young and competitive and one heck of a genious. I believe in him and his power batting is now a proven fact. He has been scoring consitently over the couple of years and now it's time that he is in the reckoning.

Didn't know Milon is the captain of CCS. Quite amazed to find that out today, way to go.

Sorry to bring this thread up BUT DOESN'T HE DESERVE TO BE IN THE T20 TEAM??? Best hard hitter batsman in the whole country without a doubt who didnt even get picked in top 23 player list for the T20!!! wtg Akran & Co.!!!!

also he did really well in last DPL...look at post 43(look at the SR and number of 's)!!! for a batsman who comes at 7-8 is not bad at all

Pretty good but domestic.... why isn't he selected?

Has he ever played international (assuming he is not our bowler Nazmul)

It's really the problem of not playing enough T20's and also our selectors not opening the pool enough. Milon, Zia, Anamui, and Shabbir should get some chances in T20's.

he can hit the ball hard, but i have doubt in his technique against better quality batsman

anyway he should be in the thoughts of the selectors in future

I saw a Domestic match in BTV in which he was playing. This guy is Built up like mahmudullah and seriously good at slogging and down the ground.I had not seen his bowling though. Our selectors dont look at these raw talents when they are in their pick.May be BPL will be helpful for him to come to the spot light.

Wow! Nice to see that. Now I hope he will be in the team specially in the ODI with his enhanced bowling and consistent batting to amuse us.

Milon, I believe, made a Dhaka premier league record of giving away most runs in an over (37 ?), while playing for Victoria this year.
Nazmul Hossain Milon played for C.C.S. in '10-'11 premier league, not Victoria. One of the most clean power hitter in the country, Milon was in the stand-bye list of the national team in the recently concluded BCB Challenge CUP. A very surprising ommision from Sep. 3 Red vs. Green practice squads.

The post you quoted is from april 2007

In 2006-07 he played for victoria.

BTW this thread was opened in 2007. And ex BC staff The Watcher, a very knowledgeable member has not posted for ages. He was very likeable with many and knew what he was talking about.

If he can do remarkable something in coming BPL, probably selectors will consider him.

Played a good knock. That six off Shakib was huge. He can be considered for the lower order slogger role in T20s alongside Shabbir.
