MATCH THREAD: Australia v Pakistan, 2nd semi-final, St Lucia

The deserved one win the semi.. Pakistan was never the contender for semi but luck has brought them here and they played their those usual all of a sudden blustering innings but couldn't hold it cause the real champions deserves the win which they did with confidence and skill.

Pakis lost, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Not sure which one i'm more happy about, watching such an amazing game of cricket or watching the stunned jaw dropping sad faces of the pakis.

Hussey did what Umar did to them. Simply outstanding cricket. I watched the last over...and when I saw Hussey at the crease, I knew it was possible for him to get that target.

What a game that was. Never seen Oz's this emotional at the end of the game. They usually just walk out, shake hands and dance. Today was different. It was really a good game.

50 off 20. I dont see us getting there. Even it was other way around, 20 off 50, we'd blow it somehow.

This has to rank as one of the best T20 ever and also the virtual final of the tournament. I really don't see England giving Australia a hard time in the Final.

But, I just wanted to salute Hussey for playing one of the best T20 innings ever.

pakistan played two matches in this tounament which were probably two of the most nail biting matches this year.i am unhappy coz pakistan didn't make it through but happy @ the same time coz india got slaughtered in the super 8.the final should be an exciting 1,two of the most in form teams plus old rivals are competing for the trophy.

The Aussies have been simply amazing ! Hussey's innings was pure magic ..I dont agree with the poster who says it was a "Fluke Innings" or it was "slogging" .Every short of his was pure timing .I was lucky to watch such an amazing match .Pak was equally good on that day .They reminded me of their team in the '90's.

Though the Aussies deserve the cup more than any other team , I am backing the English .Its their best chance in 150+ years of history to win "something"
