Default Provocative thread!

Fact: Mustafiz > Taskin.

Taskin today 1-14...same pitch...same ball...same conditions Amir 2-26. Taskin > Amir.

Ergo Mustafiz > Amir.

Waiting for self deprecating Bengalis to massacre me.

No provocations there. If you take recent form into account, Mustafiz is definitely better than Amir. However, Amir is just making a comeback and in coming years is likely to surpass Mustafiz easily.

Each have their strengths, but I of course being a supporter of The Tigers will be biased towards M'Fizz.

That cutter is unplayable! Ugh, just nasty!

As you pointed out in other threads, Taskin has also quietly become an impressive quick. He has been good since debut, but it looks to me that he is hungry to get better. Pace is up from world cup to the point where he might've surpassed Rubel as fastest quick in Bangladesh. His control added to his speed makes Taskin a core member of an impressive group of pacers.

Nah Furqaan..I still think Amir's yorkers are deadly. He can change the game at will, and he's crowd puller.

I'll say that the Prince of Mirpur is exciting also... but he's not on Amir's level.

These days almost every thread has this discussion about Mustafiz vs Amir.

Anyway I am just disappointed that our pacers dont try yorkers as often as Malinga or Amir.
Which is why I am interested to see Hider.
I think Musta and Taskin are capable but they just dont ?

Amir is in a different league, Wasim is the only comparison to this guy, This guy will make his own legend. his legend would have been in full throttle now if he didn't get ban for 5 years

Amir had back problems, he would have turned into a shane bond if he didn't get a break.

Oh Alfie. Stop embarrassing yourself. your Czech ex-gf made you even more crazy.

Shaiman Anwar (UAE) scored 40+ against pak few days ago. So he is better than Tamim,Shakib,Mushy combined coz those 3 together couldn't score 40 today

Out of curiousity. Was you supporting BD or Pak? Or was you neutral and did'nt want to back BD as you might've known BD is a bigger threat now than Pk?

Mustafiz is hard to hit even on flat wickets. Aamir will go the distance on flat wickets, watch in the world T20. But in test, Fizzers style of bowling won't be much effective as the batsmen can leave as many balls as they want and theres no pressure to hit runs, unless Fizzer changes his style. So at Test I'd take Amir.
At LOI's MUSTAFIZUR, especially on wickets that grips even a little, and say it has a slight turn on it, FIZZER is unplayable.

Mustafizur for me wins ODIS. And T20 is close. I'd take Mustafizur as he is much harder to hit, he keeps the runrate down or ups it if bowling 2nd. Under pressure sometimes impossible to hit FIZZER!

Your bad posts to good posts ratio is very high.

One game is a ridiculous sample size (just LOL at coming to a conclusion based on one game if you aren't just messing around), the bowlers faced different sets of batsmen, and you don't have to look at stats to be able to tell that Amir>Taskin, something painfully obvious.

And if you were just fooling around (since it's you, can't be entirely sure), you could have just made that useless post in an existing thread and not showcase it in a new thread.

Support aside, BD batsman are better than Pakistan ones.

Amir is good, but i don't understand this beatification like he cant do no wrong, like he is not human. Mustafiz can well be better than him and he is human as well. What we need to do is enjoy both of their careers and lets see what they do with it.

Am not talking about niggles, he at 17 had serious back issues, the sort that ends careers, certain things are not easy to recover from - back, knee injuries tend to be worst for bowlers.

He would have 100% been overworked if he kept playing.
