Default Request to Mushfiq

Use Nasir more often... This guys had an amazing figure like : 1-1-1. yet he did not bowl anymore overs.. Why? I think he has a greater potential. Please don't let it go in vain. I think he happens to be our next Shakib Al Hasan. Today he should have bowled couple more overs, and I think that could seriously make some difference.

Are there any archives we can check of the time when Mushfique used to be captain of the U19 team. He uses too many bowlers and keeps changing them. I get it if you want to mix things up once in a while but not in the way of using a new bowler every time the current bowler goes for a few runs. Some times bowler needs to get in to a rhythm ... one over spells? Seriously? Not cool.

He changes bowling way too much. In the first T20 he changed the bowling 14 times!!

Shamim Chow. was praising him

Me too. Keep the batsmen guessing in a t20 match. Good idea

In a T20 - smart thinking. In an ODI - not so much. Unless a bowler is bleeding runs, out of rhythm, tired, or the opposition batsmen play his bowling type with comfort, don't change a bowler. From personal experience, most bowlers get into a groove in a couple of overs, and should continue thereafter.

Even in a T20, it might be a good idea, but seriously that many changes. If a bowler has bowled one good over in a T20, in a format that every batsman goes boom boom, he will feel good about himself. Give him one more over. I do not like the idea of one over spells unless you are Malinga.

Stupid thread. Nasir was brought on with the intention to get rid of the left-hander Farhat and he did his job and then came a spate of right-handers including Umar, Misbah and Afridi who play spin very well. Defending such a low total logic dictates you bowl out your very best bowlers and not a 19 year old who bowls what these batters prey on. And didn't Shakib and Rubel bowl well? So why are you complaining?

Maybe because he averages 40 with the ball and picks up a wicket every 50 deliveries?

nasir is a talented bowler, i'd really like to see him develop his bowling but he needs to work hard, train hard and he needs to be backed up as a good prospect and given the overs he needs to develop his bowling and get that experience.

ever since nasir hossain came in the team we have found more reliability in him since then.. we have good capable players in our domestic sides many of them can't get chance due to politics..

Good point. He would be tagged with "selfish".

Too many so called allrounders in the team. Do we need that many in the team?
