Sri Lanka vs. South Africa: should be an excellent match. Pakistan vs. Australia should be interesting but at the same time it could also be very much one sided with Australia dominating Pakistan but still nobody in world cricket ever counts out mercurial Pakistan. West Indies beating New Zealand would be considered an upset, although West Indies has plenty of exciting players to turn things around. India is no England Given India's batting lineup, I expect India to score around 350+ batting against Bangladesh if India has to bat first. Before people jump on me, The occasions where India lost to Bangladesh in the past are as follows: India clearly did not take Bangladesh as seriously as they should have in all three occasions(2004, World cup 2007, Asia Cup). This game, India will certainly not take Bangladesh lightly and go with full force.

It takes one error in judgement or one brilliant spell of bowling or one quickfire vital innings to change the momentum of the game, so pretty much every eight teams have a solid chance from this point of view.

I really hope South Africa doesnt choke this time. Assuming Bangladesh doesnt make it (Yes Im dreaming!) I want to see a South Africa vs. Australia Final match, rematch of 1999 semi final game. Both teams are balanced with their batting and bowling. South Africa bowling maybe slightly ahead because of the presence of Imran Tahir.

Yeah. There's also good chance of NZ v Aus final too. I'd be happy with either of those match ups.

India V/S Australia & Sri Lanka V/S New Zealand

Pretty sure, its going be an Asian country making the final based on history. 1983: India, 1987: No Asian country- Poor Poms, 1992: Pakistan, 1996: Sri Lanka, 2003: India, 2007: Sri Lanka, 2011: India, 2015: ? (India shhh)

It is NOT going to be an Australia V/S New Zealand final, for sure. I can bet of this..!

AB might be a great batsman, but he's a terrible press guy. He's their Mushy. He plays too much into this choke thing. For past 3-4 World tourneys all he's been saying, "choke this, choke that." Just focus on the game! Why even bring that up! Stop playing into it and relax!

SA is not as strong as it seemed before WC. Amla is little off form. Most of his good knocks in the group stage came against smaller teams. Except AB, other SA batsmen are vulnerable and do not look as dominant as Indian batsmen. So, I will not be surprised if SA chokes in QF, especially if they have to chase. I wish we had beaten NZ and faced SA in QF. On the otherhand, without taking anything from IND line up, I think IND was lucky that they could bat first both against Pak and SA in the group stage. IND batters' character will be thoroughly tested if they have to chase against BD or against any team in SF or final.

WI can be destructive on their day. If only, the Legendary Gayle manages to understand that he needs to wake up to the real world and not dream of IPL season to start, and he needs to fire for WI. Then WI might have chance. I think.

I hope South Africa wins on the QF match tomorrow. They are such a good team in all department separately. They have to string it together to pull it through. Sangakara/dishan vs SA's fast bowlers. What a treat to watch

That's annoying the hell out of me as a SA fan. And why does he have to keep saying we'll win the world cup as if there's not enough pressure already!
