Default HOW CAN DAVE STAY POSITIVE AT SUCH A TIME?

He should be FURIOUS!

Whatmore stays positive

Final day report
Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore remained upbeat despite his side's 25th defeat in 26 Tests.
England finished Bangladesh off in 38 overs to win by 329 runs and seal a 2-0 series win.

But Whatmore, who took over in the summer, said Bangladesh could take some positives from the series.

He said: "They [England] dominated on just two of the nine days of cricket that we played."

This is not the time when we need people to say you're terrible

Dav Whatmore
Whatmore conceded Bangladesh had lost to a better side.

He said: "They [England] played exceptionally but we gave them some easy wickets too.

"I still think our team has done pretty well."

Bangladesh have struggled since they started in the Test arena three years ago.

The only Test they have drawn was against Zimbabwe in which the rain played a heavy part.

They have lost 15 Tests by an innings but have shown signs of improvement recently, coming very close to beating Pakistan.

Whatmore called on the Bangladesh public to support the team more.

He said: "This is not the time when we need people to say you're terrible.

"How the team will handle itself from here will determine its future.

"I'd rather look at the series globally and look at a few other angles rather than the negative."

England did not underestimate their novice opponents; if anything they gave them too much respect

Simon Mann reviews the series
Bangladesh skipper Khaled Mahmud blamed poor batting throughout the match for a comprehensive defeat.

"The wicket was very good but the top order didn't bat well and in the second innings we had two foolish run-outs and I think that caused our downfall," he said.

"When your top order is run-out with not too many runs on the board it's always difficult.

"We played well in the Dhaka Test but here we didn't adapt to the conditions."

The two teams begin a three-match one-day series in Chittagong next Friday.

Not lost in 3 days. Scored more than 100 in both innings. Got them all out at least once in each tests. Made them work hard for runs. And list continues.....

The thing is fahmida....

We shouldn't loose our confidence no matter what badly we have played; it will degrade our next series starting.

In this moment Dav is doing the same. What we can do otherwise? screaming out Loud !!! won't work .

we have so many flaws in our techniques. some are born to be played but for others they have to work hard to come to a point where they can apply their basics. we are still in a learning stream, and we should realize that.

Get off from playing match for a while, and try to do practice to satify ownself first. Without confidence you are not anything.

And for us, the die-hard fans, the world is not an end yet. If we loose our hopes in the middle, who will light our players up with moral supports !!! Remember, the Rome was not built in a day.

Good luck to our team. And congrats for your fighting spirit.
