Default AB De Villers' Perfect Pitch!

How can you not love AB de Villiers? He's a brilliant batsman, an electric fielder, a very decent WK - and when vested with captaincy of his national side, scores scintillating hundreds!

Here's one more reason to hail this amazing guy: He's a surprisingly good singer too!

Ampie Du Preez - a South African singer-songwriter - In 2010 collaborated with South African cricketer AB de Villiers on their debut album, Maak Jou Drome Waar (Make Your Dreams Come True). The artists are signed to the Sony BMG label and the album was released in South Africa on August 2, 2010.

Their first music video from the album was the title track, which was released in April 2010 online on YouTube. Cricketer Francois du Plessis was also featured in the video.

Check out the Video:

AB De Villiers is a real throwback to the days in the early part of the 20th century when you had guys who'd play rugby, cricket and football for their country as well as get an Oxbridge degree on the side. In this era of specialization, you see such people less and less.

But to be honest, the song (and it's English equivalent) is a bit cheesy. He has a decent voice though, it's a shame that seeming all the other videos of him singing are from a Karaoke Bar in Bangalore
