পরিবারতন্ত্রের রাজনীতি থেকে মুক্ত হতে সম্প্রতি বিয়ে না করার ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছেন বিখ্যাত গান্ধী পরিবারের সদস্য রাহুল গান্ধী। ঐতিহ্যবাহী কংগ্রেস দলের ৪২ বছর বয়সী সাধারণ সম্পাদক রাহুল গান্ধী গত সপ্তাহে কংগ্রেসদলীয় আইনপ্রণেতাদের সভায় বলেন, ‘বিয়ে করলে সন্তান হবে। আমি লক্ষ্যচ্যুত হয়ে যাব। আর চাইব আমার সন্তান যেন আমার আসনে অধিষ্ঠিত হয়।’ রাজনীতি নিয়েই জীবনটা কাটিয়ে দেওয়ার পরিকল্পনা এই চিরকুমারের।
