Good initiative.
Hope it doesn't turn out to be "How to make slow, low and dead pitches" Workshop.

And outfield ??
As long as they manage to keep the cows away, it should be counted as success.

Btw, any info on total number of participants ??

I would say good job BCB but they are about 10 years late. Is this the first time they are doing anything like this?

Who are the resource persons for the workshop?? Or may just be an incentive program for the groundsmen to have a free travel to Dhaka, dine and lodge and get some pocket money only. Don't think it will be any serious program.

Anyway, let these guys get some inspiration and use their own creativity to make good pitches all over the country.

Great news. At least BCB are doing something positive. Hopefully it turns out to be worthwhile.

"Workshop" for glorified malis, now that's interesting. Workshops don't tend to be very effective in Bangladesh, but having them in functional Bangla increases the odds of success to about 15%. Well, there's always the good old "trial and error" method. I expect these malis actually executing "designed" pitches in a decade or so, after many 111/10 (for us) and 600/1 (for the opposition) innings.
