Default Changes in the BD \'A\' team

There are a few changes in the Bangladesh 'A' team that was announced earlier. According to Bangladesher Khela's report on the current 'A' team, Fahim Muntasir is in this team.

According to the same report, Nazimuddin has an injury problem in his hand, so if he is not fit on the day of the match (on Thursday), then he won't play for Bangladesh 'A' team.

So the BD 'A' team (Again):

1) Captain is Rajin Saleh - which was announced earlier
2) Nafis Iqbal
3) Javed Omar
4) Nazimuddin / Arafat Sunny
5) Aftab Ahmed
6) Gazi Sogir Hossain Pavel (wk) - Who the hell is he?
7) Fahim Muntasir Sumit
8) Mosaddek Hossain Rubel
9) Tareq Aziz Khan
10) Talha Jubair
11) Alamgir Kabir / Ziaur Rahman

This looks a much stronger team. But there is a suspect in the batting sttrength of this team in the lower-middle order part. This team has too many specialist bowlers and no real-allrounder.

So Arafat Sunny is a batsman?

I always thought he is a bowler!

We wondered that too in another thread.

There is no good excuse for not letting Salim play for A team.

Only five bats, that is if Arafat is considered a batsmen (he is mostly bowler). 5 specialized bowlers. What's the point of playing three pacers ? Also, I agree with Fwullah - who is Pavel ? Why is he in the A team ?

I guess the question should be - who is he related to ?

Will BBC cover this 2nd practice match starting today? It is going to be staged in BKSP, Savar unlike the 1st practice match.

Even in 1st practice, there was no live commentry or pure live scorecard - like we see in Cricinfo. There was only an update to BBC's scorecard after each 15 to 20 minutes.

I wonder even if that is possible from BKSP.
