One of the best thing about this win is, the three new kids in the national team got the taste of victory right away. THIS IS HUGE.

They are Scared and Nervous are New Zealand, need to pounce on them Tommorow. We have 2 Chances to win the series, but it'll be tougher to win in Chittagong as the pitches are usally flat.

And to the Blowup Dolls Bowl Better!

we've never had 2 chances to win a series against top sides before.

it was always a 2nd ODI win to tie things up against india and lanka.

so we should win this series. remember, 2nd match is also at mirpur. i don't expect 3-0, but i do expect 2-1.

btw, ash is now the leading run scored from both sides in BD-NZ clashes

problem is even if someone has the link, they will not give you or give it in public.
because if they do so, server will go down or it will crash. so do not ask for link.
if its available then someone will post it in bc. but fact is, only BTV showing the match. so there will be not link or sopcast. only someone from bangladesh can broadcast it but as you knoe bd internet is so slow. so it won't work.

A new win and renewed hopes with the recent win. Sometimes I think it is a a huge torment to be a Bangladeshi supporter. There are so many lows that when a victory comes it takes everyone sky high.

No wonder they call the team the Tigers, when the going gets too tough, they somehow manage to do the unimaginable. Even though endangered, still has a lot of tenacity and fight.

I remember Australia (nat west series), Pakistan(World cup), India (world cup), and South Africa (world cup). It was when the team was written off , let alone ridiculed even before the match started. This win like those is a reminder that on a given day the team can stand above the great teams.

Inshahllah we will win the next ODI too.I hope the team dont let us down.

let's not forget, that they can still come back strong. so i say keep the same lineup and continue with the same mentality.

there was a reason why i didn't dismiss/rate Jamie Siddons earlier properly, and this victory in late 2008 justifies one of the reason, i hope more to come...

let's not forget this is our backyard, we should give them "proper treatment".

It's time to put some glue with this thread
Anybody has any clue on the final XI? Will it be the same as the 1st ODI?

The most important match for bangladesh is this one and not the one gone by.

If anything is to be made of the win in first ODI, it will be determined by what they do in this one

This match is huge for us. We have never followed up a big win with another credible performance let alone another win. The upward graph and consistency which Siddons has been preaching will be tested out today. But if we put on an inept display then sadly the win would count for little in the broader context of our cricket.

Another reason why I consider this game important is because the Black Caps will come at us hard. They were clearly a little rusty in the first game and this time they will deal with the conditions much better. And of course losing the series to Bangladesh would be nothing short of a catastrophe. So they will bring their A game this time. Its up to us to make sure we carry our momentum from the win, and produce a repeat performance.

The team management kept the the same XII for tomorrow's match. But according to some Bangla TV channels news there is a possibility of one change in the main XI. If a change takes place, than that obviously would be Mahbubul Alam Robin in place of Syed Rasel.
