I can imagine their conversation:

Bashar: Ganguly Da, I am not doing so well with my batting. It seems it's time for me to rethink my future.

Ganguly: Bashar Da, Cricket is all about grit and fight. Winners don't quit and quitters don't win. You should go out there and fight.

*sigh* Now Ganguly is responsible for all of Bangladesh's woes .

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow - Ganguly would be responsible for that too!

still, dada can't just say to hablu (however much he sucks) "sumon dada, you suck...quit now while you still can salvage some pride and dignity"

so i don't really blame dada.

even if dada is trying to undermine, i fully blame bashar for being so (in this case) selfish and trying to stay on.

i am willing to give him 4 test innings to prove his worth, but not any more one dayers.

Thanks Murad. Man I am seeeing red infront of me now. What a big *** loser Bashar is. The mofo looks at the name and not at the game. Dhoni er moto player mane ki u big *** loser. The guy was crippled and india was under pressure. You gave them the match in a platter and you have the nerve to even defend your wrong decisions !!!!! If all of us look at the big names in awe then we might as well stop playing for wins because almost all teams have bigger players who made a name for themselves than us. What a big *** mother****ing loser. Mejaj tai kharap hoye gese. The asshole doesnt even have the brains to realise his mistake !!!!! I just hope BCB do the right thing and drop him. LEt him stay and try and get back a place which I am sure he wont be able to get back in a hundre years. Khali gaali ber hochcge ei gordhob er jonno.

If it rains then it will be because Ganguly called Ajmeri Baba. Yes in that case it is somewhat Ganguly's fault.

Dhur!!! Bashar beta !! R koto khelba ODI ???? Shi....

Dhonir moto batsman k ki circler bhetore fielder rekhe atkano jay #?? !!! Beta bhodai na hole emon kotha bole naki ? Harar agei haira geche ! I used to like Bashar's batting when he could pull and hook and play somre more aggressive shots against any opposition. He was the first Bangladeshi batsman who showed pull, hook and cut shot are very useful in test cricket for scoring runs. But he is not really good enough for ODI anymore !

Before cursing Bashar away, lets wait and see how he bats in a test match, being one of the most experienced players in BD team

and ppl NO need to curse at Ganguly, he is giving Bashar advice the way he has dealt it himself.....only a fighter like him can come back like that, many other players would have long retired, especially if you're a bengali, you have to work double as hard to be in the indian national team....... so it's Bashar's fault if he can't use the advice he is been given.

Habibul Bashar, the Bangladesh captain, said his decision to continue playing one-day cricket was prompted by Sourav Ganguly. Bashar, who is in poor personal form even as his team has been improving, had earlier announced that the recently concluded series against India would be his last.

Bashar told the Kolkata daily Anandabazar Patrika that the decision was taken following a conversation over dinner with Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday night. "He gave me the idea and the enthusiasm. He asked me, 'Is it that you don't enjoy the game any more?' I said that wasn't the case so he said, 'What's the point in giving up something you enjoy for no reason?'

"We chatted for a long time, after which I realised, it's true, why don't I just continue playing? 'Dada' is always so positive that I feel charged after chatting with him."
Asked about his poor run of form, Bashar said it was a normal blip in a long career. "Yes, I had a poor World Cup but the two years or so prior to that were pretty good for me. Such blips happen to everyone. It seems the limelight is on me."

Bashar spoke of the weight of expectation among supporters that has increased following the team's good run in the World Cup. "I sense that every day. It's changed. Take the recent one-day series against India. Earlier, fans would have said, 'Bad luck, you fought well.' Now they ask me, 'Mian, why didn't you win?'"
