The pacers are spectators om this game for BD.

Captain Eggyman, bowl one pacer, one spinner from either ends. It's not a fifth day wicket to go two spinners operating at the same time.

There is no practical plan from BD think tank.

No point to get upbeat. We keep doing same thing and keep expecting different result.

Apart from a couple of unplayable deliveries here and there from a couple of spinners, Bangladesh Bowling attack looks toothless today.

Guyanese reference here!

Quote:
84.4 Abu Jayed to Hetmyer, FOUR, erring on the shorter side ever-so-slightly, and Hetmyer's eyes light up like a jaguar's. Pounces on its crimson prey and pulls it away towards the deep mid-wicket fence for four

Abu Jayed should work with an Actual Bowling coach. If he can add another 10-15 kph with the swing and lateral movement that he gets he could be a great asset for Bangladesh Cricket for years to come. with his pace, he will just have to work on his accuracy and that will get you success only so far...

This pitch is where Chase made that defiant unbeaten 100 to deny the Indians a victory 2 years ago.

When the batting side finishes the day with 294/4 you can't call it an even day. We are probably comparing with the first test.

What you really meant to say was West Indies didnt dominate until the third session. First session Bangladesh strangled them but at the same time on challenging conditions West Indies didnt really lose too many wickets to their credit. So session shared.

second sessiom west indies lost only one wicket so session won for them.
Third session west indies upped their run rate and dominated. HetMyer is a good find for Windies

WI is too strong for these lot. We aren't good enough to take on so many islands and Guyana. Just give us one tiny island to battle please. How about Bd vs St Lucia XI to make it more fair?

I would say Shakib too is at fault a bit. When WI were suffering, he didn't set an extra-offensive field but rather one to stop runs. Brathwaite was at unease at first and our spinners were troubling him then thanks to the spin aided by the wicket. Had we taken a couple more wickets early, we would have ended the day in a much better situation.

another 300 run day upcoming.

I wanted to see a longer test match than 3 days but maybe if windies bat till lunch on day 3, they can finish Bangladesh second innings on day 4 morning.

Perhaps 4-5 over in the morning is all that will be required.
