Excellent, thanks Jamie!

Btw, notice how the excuses for his potential T20 failures in the league are already rolling in?

^ Wellington has Jesse Ryder. Looks like Tamim will meet his Pune buddy again. One of the profile says Brendan Taylor, is that Zim captain Brendan Taylor?

Excellent news...

Only way for the BD players to improve, since we don't have a good first class standard at home, neither we play that many test matches.

Chittagong Kings haven't paid me- Tamim

Tamim Iqbal has said that he has not yet been paid by Chittagong Kings for the first season of the Bangladesh Premier League. Tamim also said the franchise's owner and chief executive, Sameer Quader Chowdhury, asked him to tell the BPL governing council that he had been paid, though the franchise denied that claim. The BPL confirmed Tamim was the only unpaid Kings' player after the league's first season.

"I couldn't play many of the BPL matches, so I told him [Chowdhury] let's sit and decide a figure, which came to Taka 1 crore ($123,000), but I still haven't received a single taka," Tamim told the Bengali newspaper Prothom Alo. "Samir Quader Chowdhury gave me a check worth Taka 1 crore six or seven months ago, but it bounced. Since then he has given me dates but has never kept the commitment."

Some people are acting like Tamim is such a nice and non controversial person... what about his fight with Ashraful? Calling other cricketers "ordinary" and getting thrashed by them. Skipping training... lol. And this is clear exaggeration, Dean Jones presumably (lol) was speaking in English, maybe he said you are the servants I am the boss.. how the hell is that insulting. Just means that they have to follow his instructions. Tamim is really a drama queen.

He could have just said, I'm the boss another words I'm in charge. Or maybe he said you have to do what I say because I'm in charge. I doubt he literally said to Tamim, you are my 'b*****'. Knowing Tamim has somewhat of a big ego I wouldn't be surptised if Jones said one thing and Tamim took it as something else. Or maybe just that our coaches don't go harsh on him enough so when someone finally laid down the law he took it differently because he is not used to it.

Has he never heard of the term 'civil SERVANT' or 'public servant' before? In this sense, it means that State employees are (shorkari) 'kormocharis' rather than the more pejorative 'chakors'. I imagine that it is in the former sense that Dean referred to Tamim - or at least intended to. He is after all very well known for flaming gaffes.

If you translate ..that should be it. They are the servants ... Of the game, team and the fans.... Servant isn't a bad word if used it the right perspective....

Feel sorry for TI, he had no luck with DeemJones in BPL & Janguly in IPL.

I know he has been in some contro before but Otherwise we never heard complaints from Siddons,or Law,or Whatever or Pybus, and during the time he played for SLPL & the English T20 firendship something.

on a different topic : saw TI's new fair & handsome ad.

Dont care what Jones thinks about Hasim Amla, but here Shakib-TI are definitely servants and whats wrong with coach feeling himself as a boss!

Opening mouth to press about those cheque bounce story of BPL franchisee, imo wont lead him to any favorable situation for next edition(s) of BPL and also professionally poor step as well. He should 've taken shelter/advice from FICA here if he was hoping for best burgain. Demanding taka 1cr for two matches, is just sounds ridiculous to me atm after hearing these drama with ctg owner & Jones.

hahahaha....ti and djones are both temperamental characters..check djones twitter account...there is a flurry of twits regarding ti and they are confrontational...djones however denies that he called ti servant...but if he had said that's unpro..relationship between a coach and cricketers at senior level is not of a servant and master neither guro shirsho as the bengali proverb says...its more of cooperative and collaborative...each there to execute their specialist skills...Respect given, respect earned....no point making someone small
