UN soldiers attacked in DR Congo
The United Nations says a Bangladeshi peacekeeper has died in an attack in the eastern Ituri region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Last time when our peace keepers were killed the UN retaliated, but regrettably no BD troops were involved (mainly Pak troops with Indian air cover using helicopter gunships). I hope this time the UN will retaliate heavily with BD troops in the lead.

what difference does it make if retaliation is made by bangladeshi troops or by some others???
they went in as part of UN team....not as soldiers of invading country like US.......
the rebels did not target them coz they are bangladeshi, i dont they even know the soldiers nationality b4 attacking them.....
whether the retaliation is being conducted by bangalis or pakis doesnt make much difference as long as someone from UN does sth decisive about it.....

These poor peace keepers yearly bring around $2 Billion dollar for us. Currently we have the largest number of peace keepers around the world.

Sad news....... agree with Tigerman here.....it's always better to respond as a UN team in such cases......
only if UN doesn't respond appropriately should the individual country take the issue up with member or participating countries..
