T20 finals would be telecasted by Nimbus, though not sure in which channel.
Thats why its scheduled to take place on the 15th of March, the day after our last ODI against SA.

Why not ? Mehrab's performance in the last twenty20 league was not bad. His bowling and fielding alone can make him an asset at this level.

Raqibul also has shown in NCL oneday matches over last two seasons that he can be quite aggressive when he needs to be. He can also contribute a lot as a fielder.

Too bad Abahani V Mohammadan is in BKSP.
The organisers would be better off to have this derby in Dhaka.
More crowd.

The match could have taken place in Dhanmondi stadium, but looks like organizers don't want any team to have the home ground advantage. Abahani is not getting a single match on Dhanmondi. BKSP team is getting one match on a BKSP ground but that is against Abahani (i.e. the alternative was to give Abahani the home advantage, but organizers rightfully decided to grant that favor to BKSP).

Ooops, sorry. Made the list based on old ittefaq reports, and one report said Arafat Salahudin moved from Mohammedan to Abahani. The reporter probably meant say Arafat Sunny, because Salahuddin was playing for Kalabagan last year.

Nazmus Sadat moved out of Abahani ? Where did he go ?

List of Old DOHS players for this season

1. Mehrab Jnr
2. Farhad Reza
3. Rajin Saleh
4. Golam Rahman
5. Anisur Rahman Sanchay
6. Shahriar Hossain Biddyut (subject to fitness)
7. Hamidul Islam Himel (wk) (U-19 reject)
8. Mohd. Shakil(U-19)
9. Rashed (medium pace bowler) (Sylhet Div)
10. Monir (SLA) (Barisal Div)
11. Maruf Sunny (All rounder, medium pace) (did well for Young Pegasus last season)
12. Mahbub Alam Mustakim (All rounder, off spinner) (Rajshahi Div)
13. Rabbi (medium pace)
14. Prosenjit Joy (batsmen)

The clus is going through a rough phase so not getting demoted would be the first target and qualifying for the Super League would be a bonus.

As for the T20 meet, qualifying for the semis is quite possible as they are in a relatively easy group where Surjo Torun and Victoria are the other strong teams. If Farhad gets released (subject to him not getting selected for the practice match again SA) then they would have a pretty decent team.

I am assuming Farhad will play in the practice match since he is also in the test squad.

Without Rajin, Farhad (natl), and Shakil (u-19), Old DOHS looks significantly weaker than both Victoria and Surjo Tarun.
