Disturbing post. A lot of experience in that particular area or is it a case of the proverbial foot in the mouth?

Sorry I am new to Banglacricket and I see many of the members speaking in the same tone. If its seem disturbing then I would request someone to remove that post.

By the way, my post was in complete humour.

about time we strip him from captaincy, we need someone else who has better luck with winning tosses. You need to be able to bat 2nd if you want to win the match

I say his last opportunity to show his skills in Va NZ at home. If he continues to be defensive as Caot fire his arse. He can't rotate bowlers, he can't give the ball to like of Momin, Ash etc, he picks one bowler of his choice and bowls him too death (gAzi, rob) and ye what's with no slips to Shingi with 120 for them to get.

While its true he falls short in tactics, it cant be said he didnt try. I mean look at todays match he applied a lot of pressure to remove Raza and Taylor. But bowlers threw it away after that. How much more can a captain do, when all your bowlers are coming and bowling short, wide even your best guys like Robiul and Shakib.

Because we lost? What a sore loser! Shows his mentality! In that case I'm glad he's and hope BCB doesn't force him back into it. I thought he was a sane headed one.... SMH

I KNEW IT! I knew BCB would try to convince him back in! That'd probably the worst thing to do. This is not a "oh our chotto pola raag korsay! Let's ador him back to the party from his room" This is PRO level stuff.

He quit on the team and the his players when going go tough. We don't need another quitter as our captain.

While I am not happy with him as a tactician, he was a good leader. I don't see a suitable replacement. Someone suggested Nasir.

I am becoming more and more convinced that Bangladesh should have three captains. Ash should lead the T20. Mushfiqur could continue to lead the test team. Not sure who to choose for the ODI. Anyone knows whether Razzak has much experience? Nasir is an option. The boy has the attitude...

Reading list for Mushfiqur:
  1. The Art of Captaincy
  2. Farewell to Cricket
  3. The Art of Cricket
  4. Cricket For Dummies
  5. Dravid and the art of T20 captaincy
  6. Hitting Out: The Ian Chappell Story
  7. Over But Not Out: My Life So Far

Feel free to add to the list (of books that every captain should read).

After reading the interview of Saqlain Mustak it is clear to me that from our lot Mushy is the best captain. Infact Mushy is a good leader. What he need is to learn tactics. A good V C is needed to overcome the problem. No doubt Shakib is the best option. If Shakib dont agree to become V C we can apply a technique. Make Tamim V C and otomaticaly Shakibs tactical brain will involve in the onfield decision.

Form what I saw during Shakib's captaincy, I was not overly impressed by him as a tactician. So far, from what I have seen, Ash is the best in on-field tactics. However, there must be others. I wonder how good Nasir is in this area.

Also, for this to work, Mushfiqur needs to close his mouth from time to time and listen to the VC (tactician).
