Eoin Morgan must be kicking himself now for falling for England, they have not picked him to play at his home ground! That too when England fielded such a depleted side!
Like Ed Joyce and Gavin Hamilton, Morgan will be prolly given a match here and a match there, and then will be kicked out of England team to wait six years to play for Ireland again!

Not really have you seen Aussie T20 squad. Nannes is playing for them after playing for the Netherlands in WCT20. And how long did Hamilton wait. He played for Scotland then England then Scotland....Its a joke.

You can play for an associate team and then play for a full member without waiting. But once you play for a full member, you have to wait 6 years before you can play for an associate team.
I am pretty sure Gavin Hamilton had to wait 6 years (after he last played for England) before he could play for Scotland again.

Yeah you are right about 6 years wait.

Its sad for players like Eoin Morgan and Ed Joyce that they have to go through this but its their choice at the end of the day they should have stick to their country or should I have said countries (northern ireland and republic of ireland).
Look what happened to Hamilton after all his hype during WC1999 England picks him then throughs him away. Now he is just an average player.

Hamilton was pretty clueless in his only Test match - he had no idea how to deal with the short stuff that was on offer and very conveniently scored a pair. It may have been unfair to drop him after that, but you can't really blame the management either, because England certainly had better players in the dug out.

I missed this one. Had no idea. Ireland played well up to their quality.
