This thread is kind of outdated now.
I hope some one else will open a new thread with "Germany is the favorites" or "Italy is the favorites" soon !!

After Pekerman's foolishness, I was depressed. When I woke up in the morning, France cheered me up. Go france. Viva la Blau, Viva la France

So at last we saw the best of Zidane in this WC. Critics are silent now and I believe they can win the world again. Those who don't like France or Zidane if they like good and art of football then they should like Zidane playing the game. very few people have played this game better than him. He showed some beauty of this game by playing in a calm way. He was simply extraordinary against Brazil. Go Zizou Go!

I am sick of european soccer...Brazil, Argentina adds some new flavour to the game and with those teams out, WC is no more interesting than Euro cup.

Indeed..teams like Brazil and Argentina makes the WC more colorful.
In Bangladesh, football fans all over the country mostly splits between Brazil and Argentina. I think tht's true for the whole Indian subcontinent. or even for whole Asia.

But what can we do?
Argentina paid price for tactical mistake of their think tank.
And Brazil?? Zidane is too good!! ( I wrote the whole post just to come to this last sentence .. )
