Default Why we "hate" Kohli!?

Why many of us "hate" Kohli!?

Years ago, the Bangladesh football legend Salahuddin said in an interview taken by Bichitra to answer the question 'Why Mohammedan fans hate him? Salahuddin said I am just too good of a player who plays for Abahani and NOT for them!!

I think we, the tiger fans "hate" him just like Mohammedan fans did for the same reason - he is just too good of a player India has!!!

In many cases, Kohli is such a nice guy but still we "hate" him! Today he has praised Mustafiz such a great way that it seems he is thrilled to have Mustafiz who is creating some kind of challenge for the batters to make cricket more interesting as a game.

I wish if we have a "Kohli" in the tiger's den who might take our cricket along with the likes of Mustafiz to the new level.

Because he can walk the walk, it seems most fans hate him because of his attitude on the field (and off), but that doesn't get in the way of his performances which pisses them off more, hoping he fails. Not to mention, he takes s*** from no one, and isn't afraid to bite back which pisses of the Aussies

Personally, I like his attitude because he can back it up.

Yeah Yeah he did same when he came in last series in 2015..BUT only off the field he's a talented actor and that's it.

So I troll him more at social media quoting 'Koolis a fake humble person' and rightly so.

ooh, please ! he is not "such a nice guy " , you can say that for Amla,AB,Sachin,Dravid etc.

I don't hate him but I like it when he fails because :

1. I don't like his attitude,ego, his mannerism
2. I'm jealous of him because yes he is too good.
3. I am not a fan of any Indian cricketers , eventhough there are plenty of reasons to be a fan of Sachin,Dravid,Dhoni,Yuvraj,Sehwag ,Laxman,Ganguly and I admire, respect & appreciate them but I never youtubed their heroics, you like what you like, the heart wants what it wants.

"hate" is a strong word.

Some people may not like him, but few people hate him.

He is a good player, in fact a tremendous once in a generation type of player. But I dislike him for other reasons.

There is a reason Rubel almost collided with him after getting his wicket in WC. Kohli said something to the effect of "ba****hod go and bowl" in their last encounter. So much for a nice guy.

There is arrogance (Mitchell Johnson/KP) and there is something called being a jerk.

I have no hate for Kohli (I am not an Indian team fan). I think players like Kohli will be the future (?) legends of the game. We need to accept them. If he has little bit if swag... he earned it. Let him be!

I dont hate Kohli nor like him. But he is similar age as me, he is passionate about his game and is enthusiastic about his game. Just like how I am as a fan, or how I am if I'm playing a game of football or cricket. So be it, whats to hate about that? Whats his attitude so bad people can't sleep over it? He has said nice things about BD; whether he has soft corner for BD cricket or not it doesnt matter he is still young, a top cricketer, passionate about his game. What do some people want him to be like, carry your national flag? Or salam you touching your feet? C'mon get real people grow some thicker skin.

Kohliis attitude doesnt bother or worry me one bit,
Born and bred in the UK played football, rugby, cricket face many hostile reactions many different types oppositions while playing schoo level sports and under 16 for local cricket side. If you played Rugby before Kohlis so called attitude will be like wind to you.
But i can tell you the reactions sometimes he does is nothing to consider bad of him, when you have such enegery you show it someways people might not like but thats just the passion and enthusiasm inside.

I like his batting and the way he takes cricket but he's definitely a role model. Having said that, I must add that he's getting it better now, he has less frictions with opposition players these days than he used to have a couple of years before.

His persona is such that some people will absolutely love him and some others would hate him. Such guys in politics run the extreme left or extreme right wings.

Kohli's father dies at mid night. An 18 old Kohli's still goes to bat for Delhi next morning...scores 96...and then goes for funeral in the evening. You surely cant hate a commited cricketer like him.

Top level cricketer with incredible skills and stamina. The one guy that never looks tired even after scoring 100. He backs up his attitude with performance.

I sense a "why do you Love Virat?" Thread brewing...

His technique is a joy to watch. He makes batting look easy. Sachin can't match up to him.

When you have skills like him, you can always shut the opposition down.

I don't mind calling him one of my favorite cricketers in the world...he's matured alot...especially during the defining moment of his career, the Test Series Down Under 2 seasons ago.

Go Virat!!!!

Why you so sour though? I don't call them "so called" tigers...I call them Tigers!!!...nothing to be afraid of.

Like I'm from the country of jaguars...our football team is Called Guyana golden Jaguars...it's something to be proud of...

Being a supporter of BD cricket...I find that you're just belittling BD's proud cricketing tradition...if u see something that you're not happy with, you can easily hit the "report" button.

Peace and love, brother.

Cricket wins at the end of the day!!!!

He's done well everywhere except England, which I think was his first tour there, not an easy place to bat when the ball is swinging miles.

Reasons I hate Biraat Coolie:

1) Didn't really hate him hate him before he showed his true color and called Rubel m************. Totally uncalled for and was actually shocked to see Coolie speak like dat. That's why that wicket against India in the WC was soooo bitter sweet. I remember jumping high when I saw it live.

2) Always has a comeback when the batsman is out. And it is a very cowardly move. Sure he speaks when he is batting or fielding but when the batsman is out, everytime I have seen him swear to the batsman who walks past.

3) The kind of stupid onfield antics he does. He has been seen to show middle fingers to the crowd, almost get in a physical confrontation. Don't get me wrong, if a Bangladeshi did all these then he would not be liked so much as well, look at Shakib for example.

If he just cooled down a bit and didn't show arrogance he would be much more liked and idolized. I wonder if even the Indians want to have him as a role model forget the rest of the world, eventhough he is as talented as he is. All that being said, he understands cricket and is passionate. And is once in a generation type of player. In my opinion Rohit Sharma is more talented than him though and should be the next captain of India.

Also wanna add, Coolie probably knows all his shortcomings and over the last couple of years he has shown signs of maturity (signs are not concrete evidence yet tho). I think the Bangladesh team dislikes Kohli and rightly so.

I only hate Sehfag. Everyone elese is tolerable. Kohli at least had the sense of showing respect to. Musta who pimped India hard last time. Sehfag would have still run his mouth thinking he's the boss when he'd have been bottom bytch instead.
