I still rfemember the Bangladesh U 19 Vs England U 19 series.

I hope England A gets the same treatment from the Academy boys.

i dont understand why the hell they dont take Enamul Hoque Jr to any of these team.. i think they dont consider him as a good bowler anymore..

they should have taken him to the Academy Squad...

i just dont understand what the hell BCB is upto..

In my case, this match reminds me more about the England Vs Bangladesh-A match where Nafees Iqbal made a century and called Giles and Batty ordinary spinners

That was also a three day practice match in BKSP.

Chill buddy. This academy team is for the practice match only, Bangladesh A-team that will play in the main series is not selected yet.

Believe me guys....The rest of the world will take more notice of this series than all of the national BD teams matches in the last six months combined....But then again, that feat can be achieved if just 5 non-bangladeshi people check the scorecard.

i agree with you. BCB is playing weird. All of a sudden Enamul hauque Jr is out of favor. whats wrong with BCB? he is one of the finest bowler of the country. In my opinion, he is even better than Md rafiq. another neglected player is Manjar rana, he is a real match winner, wherever u set him, he will perform for the team, inspite of his lack of ability.

All eyes on these youngster. Very important series for them to do well and try to get in the national team, especially for Nadif and Junaid.

England-A lost a man to injury even before the tour officially started, Danish-born Amjad Khan's aspiration for English colors takes a stumble-

Quote:
The England A tour party were reduced to 12 fit men yesterday when the decision was taken to send Amjad Khan home. The Kent fast bowler had arrived in Bangladesh with a swollen knee after attending the Dennis Lillee academy in Chennai.

The selectors back home will now have to find replacements for two vacancies caused by the selection of Ravi Bopara for the World Cup and the loss of Khan, who flies back to England today to seek medical advice as a precaution before the start of the championship season.

Also, this remainds me the England A tour before the test status, Bangladesh national team faced England A at Chittagong (1999?), where Habibul made a centuray and late in the day Sabbir Khan hited a few four and sixes. That 3 day math ended in a draw.
