Mominul Haque can bowl decent SLA, he can be the third spinner. I think this is a decent squad. Even though I would have preferred Subhashis Roy and Nurul Hasan in the Squad. can't do much about the Shakib Situation i guess. contrary to what many people think I think Bangladesh has what it takes to win this, even with this squad. What happened in the Tri Series was, we were playing with 2/3 players short every match, it was Tamim + Shakib who set the tempo/bailed us out with the rest chipping in. Bangladesh got a little too complacent in the final two matches and paid the price. It happens! time to move on.
Best possible lineup under current circumstances.

Although i think team management may consider someone else for Taijul. But who knows maybe this was Taijul's opportunity to step up. Surely must have picked at least a thing or two from Sunil Joshi?

Mominul will make a 100 for sure. This is CTG. Our comfortable home ground barring all those double centuries from South Africa openers and Aussie bowler.

But but but Gamini 'Fire the Curator' Silva is responsible for preparing this wicket.

Gamini is only for Mirpur. We have a Bangladeshi curator for Chittagong.

Gamini is head curator responsible for all the wickets.

Check back your sources.

Now if the pitch betray us again, who should we blame?

Bangladesh (probable): 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Imrul Kayes, 3 Mominul Haque, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim, 5 Mahmudullah (capt), 6 Liton Das (wk), 7 Mosaddek Hossain, 8 Mehidy Hasan, 9 Taijul Islam, 10 Nayeem Hasan/Abdur Razzak, 11 Mustafizur Rahman
Not a bad squad compared to the opponent, who seems a grade lower in both bat and bowl. The only strong area for Lanka they might be better fielders as a team.

If 1-7 all makes enough runs and 8-11 all picks up wicket including 1/2 more wickets from no. 3 and 5. We should be all set to win the first one with some competition and the second one at much ease.

Performance wise on paper we are ahead.

As per news, it's Zahid Reza who prepared Chittagong wicket.

During BPL as well, we had different curators responsible for Mirpur, Sylhet, and Chittagong, and Gamini was criticized for not meeting the same standard with other curators.

^I do not see much problem with it, Tanbir was Hathuri's inclusion in the first place.

Nayeem all the way. SL have a few lefties in their top 7.

Even Naeem Islam is a better option than Raj.

But Zahud Reza answers to his superior, and that is Mr. Gamini Silva who is HEAD curator.

We need to keep our calm and sail through the mind game. If 1st or 2nd day performance is not up to the mark, in case we collapse or Lanka builds a stronger partnership, we should not lose hope. It is a long 5 day to exploit, we need to show grit and temperament. This is our home turf. We beat AUS recently. We beat this team in their home. No way if we give 100% they have a chance.

It does not matter who is preparing the pitch. It's easy to predict what will happen - all our spinners, may be except Fizz will look toothless on it, and then both Lankan spinners and pacers will wreck havoc on it.

Win-win proposition for haturu.

If Tanbir clicks, Haturu gets the credit.
If Tanbir fails, its helps haturu's current team.

I'm sure that Bangladeshi curry is delectable.
Look at these Sri Lankan preparations.
I'm vegetarian, by the way and of these I will have only the last one.

Well said. You're absolutely right about hathmaluwa. This recipe dates back over 1500 years and is full of nutrients.

I'm sure that you have such recipes too derived from the rich Bengali culture.
