No, there's no need of any rule. In most situations both languages are welcome. In some threads, there's no alternative of Bangla (e.g. Sauron's parody thread about Chacha) and some threads are better in English. And there shouldn't be any strictly "Bangla only" or "English only" thread. Why can't we just let people use whatever they find convenient? This debate really needs to end quickly.
I could've typed this post in Bangla. But now I'm posting from Linux. I can't use Avro keyboard here, and I can't use the Bangla keyboard layouts of Linux effectively.

One correction on time. If the match starts at 2:30 pm Bangladesh time, then it would be 3:30 am EST and NOT 4:30 am EST, and likewise, for PST. Please make the correction, if it has not already been made.

Now this is really getting confusing. The link above to cricinfo shows a start time of 1:30 pm Bangladesh time. Can anyone please confirm what is the right start time, 1:30 pm or 2:30 pm Bangladesh time?

I am a supporter of no rules on the choice of language. And I agree with spitfire_x36
1. The first post in match threads should be in English. May be Bangla can be within [ ].
2. Individual posters would choose what language they want to use. But my gut feeling is that the thread would be pre-dominantly English.
Before reacting, please note that I said "would", I did not say "should".

And looking for armor to protect my soft heart before it gets crushed today ....
Power to all the Tigers!
May be except for Chacha, coz he is already powerful, doesn't need the extra boost

Sorry, I don't want to sound fussy, but a lot of us living abroad depend a lot on these game times here. Please note that you have changed the time in Bangla to 13:30, but English still shows 14:30. Also, the EST, PST etc. needs to be changed.

Javed Omar out? again experimenting opening pair? Javed Omar is probably the most experimented opener in the history of circket. Hope Rajin clicks as he did against India. No further comments on Alok.. He probably will fire ( and score 20 runs)
Was Aftab really fit for international cricket? Couldnt we have given Shujon a farewell match on the last ODI?

I think they will have rafiq as an opener.its a gamble with 3% success rate. But thas is almost same as our ODI success rate too.Or i think they'll try rajin-nafees and that is absolutely pointless as rajin is a equally quqlified,if not more, ball eater like golla

Here is a compromise - lets have it all in Bangla during February, and in English during the remaining 11 months ?
Or, it be only in English for the BD Cricket forum, and in whatever language the writers desire in the other forums.
Bangla seems to be a clutter (my thought only). And lets see how many new international users we attract? Though on the flip size, Biplob from potuakhali may jump in because its in Bangla. And ther are many Biplob's out there.

We need to find a replacement for JO cos you cant do anything productive taking him into the team. Trust me i dont hate him but its good for us if we keep him out of the oneday squad though he is perfect for test cricket. Some people might say no one did better than him in oneday cricket from the current bd team but i would say Rajin can do better than him.

No, most probably, Razzak will be supersub today, while Chacha will be given a place in the main eleven for his farewell match.
