Default A couple of good ones

Some of the British Newspapers have good ones as well. The one I like best is the Daily Guardian's (extremely left-wing paper, don't ever read it except for the sports section) headline "England face Dhaka-est hour."

Another chap emailed into their minute by minute report section suggesting that "England's hopes could be well and truly Bangla-dashed."

Guardian is'ny extremely left wing. Read mostly by teachers and a lot of professors so they have a core intelectual readership. .
Their articles on developing countries, along with the "Independent" daily, in my opinion, are the most balanced.
Anyway, I have attached another UK link with quite a good picture of Pilot in action doing some damage.

Thanx for the link Optimist, Loved this part:

Harmison was recalled into the attack but his second delivery to Habibul Bashar was there for the drive - and what a drive! Like a bullet, through cover point for an exquisite boundary, the shot of the morning so far.

Sheer Poetry

Optimist

Yeah. I read the article too. The detailed and "blow by blow" account style is amusingly reminiscient of a battle report by some war journalist. Does he write other stuff in that website?Thanx.

I think the Guardian is left-wing. Maybe its not extremely left-wing anymore, but come on guys, its the paper of Old Labour. Or were they not left-wing? I know a lot of Professor's like to read it, but aren't most Professor's quite lefty? I bet every Professor at SOAS subscribes to the Guardian.

But anyway, obviously a lot of people like the Guardian because it has a decent readership. But all that is besides the point. I liked their headlines!

Oracle and Sami
Nice to know that you liked the website. When I heard that Bangladesh has received a lot of positive feed back from australian media after their recent series, I tried to find an australian cricket site. And I found this site. I don't know about the authors much. but their is a represntative from bangladesh. His email address is isam@dhaka.net
