There are indisputable evidence that Cardiff match was fixed. Everyone, including Ponting, in the team should get a lifetime ban. CA should be dismantled for not being able to prevent it. It should be taken over by ICC.

A lot of Western ( Read : white ) journalists to this date has a hard time accepting the shift of power base to the Sub-continent ( Read : India )from their established antiquated world view. They look at BD as nothing but an extra voting card in the Asian bloc. Taking on India is much harder, because of the economic might and so many of their players earning bread there, so beat up on the baby to send a message to the parents indirectly. In time, reality will set in, though it might be never for a few, and from time to time, we will encounter Billy Bobs' with a pen to malign us at every other opportunity. When we do start answering them on the field, I will assure you, some of the very lot will find a new excuse with us. We will have to wait out for the newer generation of writers, or at the very least, hopefully old age and father time will catch up with those few.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all know Shane Warne was paid off to go off with a sore shoulder, with figures of 0-105 at Dhaka.

Carn the Tiges.

^ Warne can't do that by himself. Ricky was involved as well.

Thats quite ironic.....Australia's birth was based on finding a dumping ground for corrupt criminals.

Atleast a Bangladeshi yet to be proven to involved with taking bribes.

People, no need to get all worked up about some op-ed piece in some no-name newspaper from halfway around the world!

The bottom line is that our birth as a test nation -- corrupt or not -- took place and cannot be undone. This is a fact. It follows from the arrow of time. What is done cannot be undone. It follows from the second law of thermodynamics.

What I'm saying is this: Ain't no tabloid journo gonna take test status away from us.

Better to focus on improving our cricket than to dwell on what others are saying about us. We've got to develop a thicker skin, people. Why so sensitive!?!

Time to move on.
Pakistani players have said the game was fixed, salim malik was always out for the quick buck.
