He already has 2 of the 3 dismissals

If he does keep, that will mean the height difference between our previous[mushy] and current keeper will be about 8 foot.

scorecard dont show how many he dropped.
anyway good decision by stand in captain mushfiq or management whoever took it. as mushfiq is taking over charge of captaincy why not let jahurul do some keeping.
this also helps as alec stewart said, while keeping he gets a good look at the pitch how the ball is moving and bouncing and makes it easy to settle when batting.
hope this helps jahurul too.

He has to open with Tamim in test. Therefore he cant keep. Rahim will keep in test, bat at 6/7.
And in ODI, if Siddique isnt playing Jislam should be our 2nd choice to open with Tamim, not Dumbrul. And he can also keep in odi while opening, and Rahim to bat at 3.

There is a "?" mark
BTW, he could be related to MJ (when he was black). He kinda looks like MJ's dad or one of the older brothers.
huh?

Its not happening! It's just part time. Shakib will be back, Rahim will have to step down from matabbori, and Jislam will open the batting with Tamim (inshallah). And if he opens he wont keep.

JIslam looks focused! We should try him as keeper in 1st Test and play Mushy as a batter and see how it goes...

I thought he was a part time keeper meaning his keeping skills is secondary to his batting?

Ok sns we are gonna do this, and go into all these details from 1 single picture, HERE I COME! Watch out.
1) Batsman is using Gray's pads and gloves, but non-Gray's bat. Huh, weird
2) Batsman is concentrating real hard.
3) Most likely he had hit that ball for a 4, or may be 2, could be a triple if they had ran hard. Or just 1, if he played it right to a fielder, who mis-fielded, and they took a single
4) I wonder whats his jersey #, I am thinking something between 0-100. hmm.
5) He is wearing contacts.
6) Jislam is using Rahim's kit. SS
7) stumps are sponsored by 'DUKES'.
8) A standing Rahim would be same height as Jislam's in this picture
9) Ashraful is our hero
10) we hate Imrul, he was the mis-fielder
11) Riyad bowled it, look at the seam, its going out to a leftie, so it was a offie, Razzak is SLA, it would be coming in if it was Razzak. Riyad also bowls lot of short stuff.
12) Our seamers dont wear shoes or boots, because there are no foot marks of their follow through. May be they werent running today? Just standing and bowling?
13) I can see Jislam hitting a 150 on 1st test, I can see how talented batsman he is just by looking at his eyes and WK gloves. He has good eyes.
(no offense) dont hate the new guy.

It was just a thought as many were calling for Mushy's head due to his poor wicketkeeping!!!

Specialist keeper? In modern day cricket none of the team have a specialist keeper. Except Eng (even now they have a WK Batsman).

If he is better than Mushfique as a keeper than he can play. A good keeper is a must need for a team. If his standard is similar to Mushfique as a keeper than no need to ignore Mushfique's experience.

Yeah, and I thought it's just there without expecting an answer.
Just like saying, ''What? Shakib has chickenpox?'' after knowing that he already has it.

Why cant we have Khaled Mashud Pilot as national teams' Assistant coach instead of Potka Sujon? He can help Musfiq & Jahirul and is definitely a better tactician, motivator than Potka Sujon
