Legend like Grinidge was our coach.
One of the all time best coach of cricket also coached us. And now we are struggling to find a bowling coach despite we are more strong and wealthier than before. I lost some of my respect for Klusener.

According to Janakantha the new bowling coach will be from SA or England. We might get a coach right after Eid....

Just get the NSW pace bowling coach..look at all the Australian pacers that played in this team...just match his NSW salary..throw in free rent and a few trips and he'd be way better than any Kluseners or Caddicks. You could also go with Victorian bowling coach or someone from Australian Institute of Sports (AIS)...
I know this guy who could tell me a few names as to who'd be good potential candidates for pace bowling coaches from Australia...but then, my opinion is uselesss and BCB would end up with Sarwar Imran till the World Cup. The guy I know knows Shujon bhai as well...Mr Christie was about to get selected for NSW as a fiery young pacer before an accident forced him out of contention at a state level...he still plays grade cricket..
But yes, BCB is hopeless so no point in anyone doinjg any work for them.

international pace coach Ian Pont is the unknown name behind the success of Dale Steyn and others. he would be the most amazing appointment as he teaches speed and accuracy but don't know if the Tigers are prepared. He is the world's leading expert on fast bowling techniques and google search for fast bowling coach shows him at the top.

Bro if BCB had such eagerness to go into domestic circuits of Aus/SA/Eng we would have had a decent bowling coach by now, instead we are[were] running after big names[yet unproven] like klusner, Caddick etc.
The thing with NSW/VIC/AIS coaches are, they will see the Bangladesh appointment as a step towards their Aus appointment and will be quite enthralled in my opinion. If only our board members had the willingness to look into this option, we would have been much better off.

Wishful thinking. BCB is very slow to do anything constructive, IMO, it will not happen before the Kiwis arrive, Mash, Rasel and Shafiul are on their own with help from the fielding coach. Remember it wil take about a month for negotiations and conclusion.

klusener, caddick, prasad .... the names just comes in and then goes away, but nobody wants to be the BD bowling coach due to personal, financial or other reasons. so BCB is in big trouble. no officials can answer, whether they will be able to find or appoint a coach before the NZ series.
though it is hard to find the trouble when u look at the BD team training. in the absence of specialist bowling coach. both jamie and julien filling in the gaps. siddons said earlier he will give more time to bowlers and julien is attending the bowling nets whenever he gets time. and asst coach sujon is there too.
but though the presence of three, in reality the bowling practise isn't gathering real pace. because the time siddons or fontain is giving is not enough.
m alam robin said that siddons is helping a lot, julien is giving useful tips, but if there was a full timers then theye would have got help for all the time.
shahadat said that as no bowling coach they have nothing else to do except accepting help from other. but if there was a regular bowling coach that would have been better
but mashrafe doesnt see too much difference with no bowling coach. he said that siddons is showing a lot of things, julein working on some techniques of slower delivery and variation. this will help the bowlers in executing variation more accurately which bd bowlers ar not good at.
mashrafe is also happy with siddons' performance. he said that siddons working on strengthening the basics of bowlers. he is not working on anything new but looking to strengthen a player on what he already got. like one who can swing he is training him to get better in swinging the ball. so mash is happy enough with bowling training without a bowling coach.
or aus
BUT how long with these "GUEST APPEARANCES" ??? even soumendro saha, the psychologist has started working in full pace. the only missing piece is a bowling coach.
but BCB cant give any hope of getting a bowling coach. they say moy be not before NZ series but during NZ series they expect a bowling coach. but they are not ready to give any names after the klusener incident. they only say the coach will be from SA, eng

I think the salary and facilities sound insufficient for lot many coaches to come far east and train.

Klusner was asking for too much to begin with and out board was stupid enough to meet his demand. I think all in all it was good that he didn't come, I had a feeling it was a disaster waiting to happen. If we can afford to give klusner just about everything he wants, i'm sure we can afford someone who is a much better coach with a proven track record.

Exactly...$ 9,000.00/month is huge that too for a country like Bangladesh. That amount is very much competitive anywhere in the world, ei salary te ( or maybe less)valo coach na pabar kono karon nai...
