He was honest. Most of the cricketer of the world would prefer IPL over county.
And he doesn't rule out his possibility of playing county cricket.

You have a fair point, for it did seem as if I implied there can be no improvements through playing the IPL. Of course, that wasn't quite my intention. It would obviously improve his T20 skills. I do however stand by my belief that he would be better served by playing County cricket. I doubt IPL star bowlers like Dinda and Yadav could make the same impact in County leagues with their rubbish bowling as they have in the IPL. And I'd say batting in the county T20 leagues are a far sterner test due to the conditions, as I've already mentioned.

At least he made time to visit old friends inspite of success and fame, these are the traits that makes a good human being which he mentioned.
