if BD lose this match then we will know that something is very very wrong, though trent kelly is a good bowler, but other than him there really isn't anyone in the side who should be any sort trouble.

I am tired of losing practice matches... it is time to lose some real matches.

I don't get what are the benefits of going Australia early to play several practice matches. This only made life difficult for Ashraful, as he cannot use lack of practice matches as excuse anymore. Since practice match does not help anymore to our experienced players, BCB should not send them early and waste valuable $$ (I have no problem of listining that excuse, after all we know what can they do).

To alleged Sports_Fan_Bd,

I remember this tournament ... one day cricket. I'm pretty sure it was in these small islands - small grounds, short boundaries - and the Tigers turned up early and played some practice matches, before most of the other teams showed up and said 'Nahh, she'll be right, we dont need practice in local conditions'.

How did that all go, anyway ?

So 4/5 practice matches are must for our boys. It could be. Hope our players will not be homesick before the 3rd match of the series.

My points were playing 5 practice matches and going there one month early would not improve their performance against Australia. I don;t mind sending the academy team or A team to Australia for a month or two.

My point is your point is not reflected by historical performance.

Again, how did showing up early and practicing do during the recent World Cup in the West Indies ?

You'll get a long life. Just yesterday I was thinking of when you'll be back in action for the Aussie tour.

Welcome back.

We have enough toubles inside, probably don't need much to come from otherside.

Let us keep it as a practice match only.
If we loose, nothing to loose as it is a practice match.
If we win, it is just a little good feeling.
If we loose in 3 ODIs,...man!!! it is against Australia.

In this way we can watch BD crickets year after year with fresh hope.

I prefer a loss rather a win today which would delay the EID untill 29th...!
