Default Murali's World Record Countdown Thread

Murali's got 7 more wickets to go and we can use this as the countdown thread.

Damn Budhhika, the way you're putting the crossed pictures, it scares me. If, God forbid, any of these players get murdered somehow, the first one behind the bars will be Murali!

Man.. im hating it.. Aussies are DOMINATING sri lankan bowling..while we totally surrender to it..they are making both us n sri lanka look vry ordinary..
Murali should take 10 wickets hauls..1 after another!! GO MURALI!

It aint happening here.
The Aussies wont let the record of Warne be broken in Aussie soil.

5 wickets at this point seems one too many for Murali and for the whole Lankans for thta matter.

I certainly dont want it to be broken there too!

Let him break it in his own soil against the English.

Not against the Aussies.
Not in Australia.
The record that is of Warne's.

Not in this series ...

By the look of it SL batsmen will give Murali only One innings each in the rest of the series (it is 3 Test right?) ...Murali will have his batsmen to blame ...

2 tests series. in 1 match Murli got 1 innings to bowl and got only 2 wickets. at least if he has 4 innings to bowl then may be he got 8 wickets and equal to Warne. but now it seems not possible. i think aussies gonna hit wicket by themselves but won't give him wicket or give him the chance to bowl for 2 innings in the next match as well.

btw, we, Bangladesh team, almost did the same against aussies.everybody is nothing in front of aussie. please someone pull them down.

A hit wicket still goes to the bowler's account

If he breaks the record in Sri Lanka, he will be m ore appreciated than in australia.
Ricky Ponting has already said that they will make sure that he does not break it in australia.
Anyhow, most of Murali's wickets have been taken off the hapless batsmen of Zimbabwe and BD, whereas Warne's wickets have been taken off the top 8 teams.

I see no merit in arguments like this. In fact, I find attempts to demean someone's success by making such comments pretty tasteless. Do you have the slightest clue as to what happened when Warne visited Bangladesh? A big century with no wickets to complement it, and a sore arm from all the beating.
