Default I am sick. (Home remedies)

I am sick.Fever and congested. My mom won't take care of me cause she says its my fault for going to university just wearing a tee. I am out of tylenols/advils/Paracetamols. Really don't want to drive to shoppers drug mart right now. I think they are closed too. So i need some home remedy. I tried ginger tea. I tried honey. Anything else BC doctors?

If your mum can find the goodness in her heart to make you some hot chicken soup that would be good. Any hot food/drink really. Also you could try inhaling steam, if you have a safe way of doing it. Good luck.

That's the best part about getting sick. I remember when I was kid parents would be extra-nice to you, plus jau bhaat and bacha murgir jhol.. , plus missing school , plus sometimes fever induced high brain performance

So, you are saying that the lack of fever is to be blamed for your present cerebral under performance ? !

No, Billah. The under performance has no known scientific cause. Much like the Bermuda Triangle, this will remain an eternal mystery. Not even tokes. He wasn't dropped on his head as a child. Mystery.

On Topic: Jau. Mother's jau can be packaged and sold as a cure all. Has to be with khude chaal and bachcha murgi.

bancan, have a hot shower and have hot food or drink at regular intervals. doesn't have to be large portions. I'm currently recovering from a nasty cold and finding this quite helpful.

There is no clear evidence that elevated body temperature evoked by most infections is directly injurious to microbial invaders. As fever regularly accompanies inflammation, however, increased body temperature may well accelerate certain biochemical reactions of use to the host in combating infection.

I had a Red bull (had 1 few hours earlier as well) and 2 deshi sweets to keep me up for an hour as I was feeling drowsy. But now it prevented me from getting my usual nap. Now, I am shaky, nervous and can't nap nor can concentrate, everything seems so dark. ki kori?
