BDFlag FTP till 2019 released

Someone on PP forum found it...interestingly its dated Nov 30, 2014 so its the most recent and likely finalized version.

We are getting far fewer matches than India, SL, and PAK...but on the good news we are getting 33 Tests over the next 4 years.

Overall the number of Tests is great...we can always add a few more perhaps. But the number of ODIs is disappointing.

Our Schedule (Tests, ODIs):

2015
2015 WC
vs PAK (2, 3)
vs IND (1, 3)
vs SA (2, 3)
vs AUS (2, 0)

2016
vs ZIM (3, 5)
Asia Cup
WT20
@ IND (1, 0)
vs ENG (2, 3)
@ NZ (2, 3)

2017
vs PAK (2, 3)
@ AUD (2, 3)
@ SA (2, 3)

2018
vs SL (2, 0)
Tri series (SL, ZIM)
@ WI (2,3)
Asia Cup
vs WI (2, 3)

2019
vs ZIM (3, 3)
@ NZ (3, 3)
2019 WC

A lot of them are at home at least, its time we start becoming htbs at least.

2017 will be a terrible year, with tours of SA and Aus for a test series

cant believe no odi against india in india ? and no series in england , also why arent we hosting newzeland ? are NZ scared of playing in bangladesh lol ? whatever all i care about is right now bangladesh had to be number 8 position in odi ranking to play in icc champions trophy and world cup , playin 4 odi against zimbawe in 2015 january would atleast help us in ranking by 4 more points if we couldve win in all matches , but these idiot illterate bcb illegal president papon dont understand that

This is actually not the latest one.
The finalized version would have FTP till 2023.

But it at least gives us the immediate 4 yr schedule. We have series against all of the big 3. India is skimping on us. But I'll take 1 test in India every 8 yrs. We haven't even managed a fluke win against a top side regardless of how flat our pitches are. Draws against NZ (quite a strong side now) and SL are signs of definite improvement. But if we can manage a couple against IND/SA/AUS...or even make rank turners, we'll get a real test of where we are.

Its so depressing that it's funny.

No game in the world is as exclusive as cricket. It's as if the overlords don't want us stragglers to play their "sacred" games. What a shame.

If BD wasn't so outlandishly bad at every other sport, I'd never have followed cricket this regularly.

If they make cricket (twenty20 format) an Olympic sport then there is a way out it. But both ECB and BCCI won't allow such wonderful thing to happen.

It will be easy to globalize cricket and governmental fund for Olympic would come into cricket which would benefit associate and affiliate countries a lot , if they make cricket a summer Olympic sport.

^^ Bro cricket is a wonderful game. It captures the human nature in ways no game can't. If the intention was there, we could have a worldwide Test championship by now. But BCCI and ECB is wary of sharing the pie so much that they are killing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Lets forget about the associates for a second. Just take a look at the difference in number of games played , both Test and ODI, by Virat Kohli and Shakib or Mushfiq in last 2 years. And, Bangladesh is a "full" member of the ICC!

To do that they would need to clear out a Wt2o tournament and that in turn would result in millions of dollars of revenue lost. From a business point of view I can understand the reasoning. Screw the associates, love the money.

I will totally blame that on illegal awamilege government for Pakistan not touring bangladesh , this iillegal awamilwgee governemt acting lyk as if they wanna kick out pakistan embassy from bangladesh what a shame , and this is why pakistan dont wanna come, if it was lyk this than japan would never speak to any american after what happen in hiroshima and nagasaki , bangladesh really needed that tour to be in top 8 and play in champions trophy

Forget about FTP, Focus on WorldCup

If we reach beyond QF .. Whom ever we kick out will become crazy tour us or invite us for revenge.

If we reach finals...all G8 will Que up to invite, because stadiums will be full by Bangladeshis and off course it will be worth watching...well that's a bit too far I guess let's focus on #BANvIND

No. They wouldn't care to schedule us outside what has been already given. If and only IF, we win damn thing they will respect us. Semis berth is nothing in a World cup. See Kenya.

Holding our own, drawing series is 1st. That is how SL earned the respect. It helps when you have a bowler like Murali, batsmen like ranatunga-De Silva.
