We dropped catches only in the first test. And those were due to Nafees and AshFool

Coaches won't take the catch for you. We need more rigorous fielding practice routine. Like playing balls 24/7. While eating while sleeping while in the toilet.

Fitness can be an issue also. All the coaches have to work on this.

Another factor is that the current side does not have too many quality fielders. Rokibul, Naeem, Shuvo, Imrul were examples of quality fielders but have not been in the side for too long.
JS, Nafees, Sharapova are good examples of poor fielders. Mashrafe was also a poor fielder, though he would rarely drop sitters, though shows a lot dedication even as a fielder, probably has to do with fitness/

After Whatmore left the team, the physical fitness and fielding has been extremly poor. It has also been lack of commimtment from many players as well.

fielding was pretty good during julien fountain's time. but yeah as said, not many players in the team currently that are known for their fielding. nasir and shakib are really good but who else?

To whom it may concern
Fielding coach's impact can be felt at least after 6-9 months staying with the team. Not instantly. that is hardest part of the game (elevating fielding standards). Practicing a month or two one can develop a new ball or a new shot in his arsenal. Changing the standard of fielding requires understanding field placements, playing together as a team plus bowlers bowling in the right areas to dictate where the ball may go.
One can't put a price on "concentration". We have the least amount of that thus lose ball or two in an over, getting out cheaply is normal. Getting this side to field better ... very very very difficult task. These things must come from the local cricket. Not at the international stage.
Dui poisha.
