Default Asia XI vs Africa XI : which bangladeshi players will get in?

CricInfo

I think Bashar will get in and that'll be it but i also think that these players deserve to be in also.

Mashrafe, Ashraful and Rafique.

It's really unfair that the Asia XI has 4 good countries to pick players from and that the majority of players in Africa XI will be South Aricans

You'd think Ash would be a lockbut i don't think so, Bashar is the Captain and he'll get the nod and there' only 11 spots for the Asia XI do you think the selectors will chose a bangladeshi payer over a indian or a Paki?

but it be nice to see Ashraful and Afridi have a partnership together.

After all we always like to compare the two.

I think cricman has written asia XI instead of Africa XI. I think it will be tough for Rafique as Harbhajan, Kumble and Muralitharan are there.
Probable team can be:

Sanath Jayasuria
Virender Sehwag
Sachin Tendulkar
Inzamam-ul-Huq
Yousuf Youhanna/Razzak/Afridi
Rahul Dravid/Ashraful
Kumar Sangakkara
Chaminda Vaas
Harbhajan Singh/Kumble
Shoaib Akhtar
Muralitharan

South AFrican players are really lucky because they will have little competition from Kenya, Zimbabwe and Namibia. :P

None.

Aftab might get the nod as 12th man. Although I really like Ashraful for his brave batting, it is Aftab who has been winning us the matches....without the 6 off the first ball we would have been screwed.

Javed Omar Gullu.

He can hold one end and bat for 50 overs scoring 50+ runs and can make all of us proud.

He can achieve to bat through the innings which even Tendulkar will find hard. :P:P:P

Anyone know if Andy Flower will play for Africa XI. Otherwise it is basically Asia XI vs. South Africa.

Heath Streak from Zim and Tikalo from Kenya may have practical chances to play for Africa XI.

I would pick Taibu over Boucher as the wicketkeeper of Africa XI. Tikolo and the legspinner David Obuya has good chance to make it through from Kenya.

pilot and sangakkara will be fighting out for the wicket keeping role, in my opinion. Also, Ashraful/Bashar should be picked, while Mashrafe may not be able to outdo the likes of Vaas, Pathan, Shoaib, Zaheer Khan, etc. in the eyes of the selectors.
