Default Wayne Rooney set to leave Manchester United

'After all we've done for Wayne': Alex Ferguson admits he's dismayed that Rooney wants to leave Man United after club stood by him in sex scandals
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-scandals.html

Probably the most shocking transfer news since the David Beckham saga.

I cant think of a club that needs Rooney at the moment. It makes sense for AC Milan, but they cant come up with 40m+.

Now I understand why this drama. It was a planned one to take away media attention from his low-life incident(engaging with prostitute). Well done Sir Rooney, you are a even better drama-queen than our Rok.

^It was also to increase his salary. Whenever there is uncertainty regarding a player's future the British media starts throwing obscene numbers such as Club X is offering the player £200,000 a week and Club Y is offering £250,000, most of the times it is all BS. However it really puts pressure on the club. Fans are already unhappy with everything that is going on with the owners and the lack of quality players being brought to the club and are questioning where all the money from the C-Ron transfer went. So they had no alternative but to make sure Rooney stays at all costs. Rooney's agent, Stretford is very shrewd and he realised all this and effectively doubled his client's wages.

It was kinda obvious Fergie wouldnt let him go. We have Chicarito but Berbie is old now. We really needed to hang on to him. And the fan base would suffer too if he was let go because Ron is gone too now. But if Fergie is mad it usually means the player doesnt play for United anymore but this time it was different, and im glad
