Default Electronic Dance Music (EDM)

Anyone in BC into this type of music? EDM runs the night life. Clubbing hard and partying hard is #mylife.

We can also talk about dubstep or hardstyle music as well. EDM is primarily electro, house type music.

Some DJ's we may relate to
Skrillex
Alesso
Avicii
Bob Sinclair
Swedish House Mafia (Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebestian Ingrosso)
Calvin Harris
Diplo
Hardwell
Showtek
NERVO
Tiesto
Zedd

NERVO i think are a real talent in the industry. Aussie dj's which have produced some quality tracks such as "Like Home" and "Reason" (feat. Hook N Sling).

Mammoth - Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike

A must listen. Smash hit track and make sure to turn up the bass when you listen to it

Now, there will be a thread for every music genre

Anyhow, I dive into this genre once in a blue moon. Some tracks are absolutely mesmerizing to listen to, when you're stoned.

It's been a while. Recommendations, please!

this past friday and saturday there was a festval called EDC - electronic daisy carnival held in nyc citifield stadium. its an annual event that happens in different state biggest being in las vegas where attendanc go above 300k. nyc usually have 100k.

i wanted to go but two reasons i didnt..

1. i dont like this type of music (however i dont think at the festival itself it woulndt have sounded bad as atmosphere would be different)
2. I am too old for this.

yeah, not denying. i mean i dont think i would have regretted it. people watching alone would have been great as the crowd is very young, beutiful and dress well for these events and its a 100k ppl massive party i guess u can call it; however spending 250 dollars just on the tickets for music i dont care much about didnt make sense to me....

i dont know where bengal pagol lives but i am assuming he went or atleast should have gone given the timing of the tread..
