wow surprised that espn3 is broadcasting it even though we don't have a broadcast deal. thats awesome...i think espn3 will always broadcast all our home games now regardless of who or even if we have a TV deal!

Jurgensen, however, was happy to see some of the pace bowlers hit the straps in the first-class competition though Rubel Hossain is still going to need more time before he could be asked for long spells. "I am happy with how much they've bowled so far. Shahadat [Hossain] and [Abul Hasan] Raju have been bowling regularly after Eid while Rubel [Hossain] has not, but he's fit to be bowling.

Another hint for Abul to make debut???

There is something about Abul that got this folks hooked !!
But if Rubel is good to go, he would definitely feature.

Personally, I really want to see Gazi debut tomorrow.
Shakib, Sunny and Shohag could be our new Secret of Success !!

I can see Abul Hasan The Future Shane Watson for Bangladesh. This Boy has something special. I agree with some maybe its too early. but if you look at players like Pat Cummins (Aus) or Adam Milne (NZ) they are similar in age and experience with Abul but yet Team Managment are trusting them. In Australi normally pacers debut at an early age, Jurgensen following the same route. it's not a bad idea to allow pacers like Abul play test match's, we have seen how Australi has produced raw talent in to world class players. I am no way suggesting that Abul might become the Best bowler, but its better to follow a system.

the dude can't even bat, he will never be Shane Watson. Just being a decent bowler at this stage would be good enough

If Gazi will get his debut, we have to take only one pacer which won't be a good decision. Or Sunny must be dropped.

I think Gazi, Sunny and Shakib all three and 2 pacers can play.

Tamim
Nazim/Junaid
Junaid/SN
Naeem
Shakib
Nasser/Riyad
Mushy
Gazi
Sunny
Shahadat
Rubel/Abul

We should go with Shakib, Sunny, Gazi and Two Pacers even if the pitch assists fast bowling. But I have a feeling Team Management will overthink this and play 3 pacers.

If Abul is really getting chance again, all the best wishes for him then. As if everyone alrady knows he is gonna fail again! Hopefully this Syloti king will save his team and deshi jaat-somman.

Why stop at Watson? I think Abul can be the next Bradman.

Respectfully disagree. I think he'll be the next Flintoff without a drinking problem. Not just "our own" Freddy but THE Freddy Flintoff 2.0. Watson's not quick enough to be compared to Abul. Wonderful comparison to Cummins BTW

If we were to follow a system, Abul should have played more before thrust into the international arena. No international team plays bowlers as raw as Abul. I will be happy to be wrong, but Abul is likely in for a rough treatment...
