ONLY BANGLADESH?? Man BD is the same side that's been kicking our behinds in the one dayers for the last six years and you say, "ONLY BANGLADESH"? Besides this Zim's first Test after 6 years and how can we not be happy? I tell you what, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!!!

The other thing to think about is that the preparation for this tour was very poor and efforts have to be made to ensure that BD plays cricket on a regular basis. Some of you are calling for Shakib's head, but I think changing the skipper at this stage will only make things worse and beside there isn't a suitable replacement anyway. Shakib has been a good leader for the last couple of years, he lead BD to series ODI series wins against NZ and Zim and victories in the world cup against ENGLAND, Ireland and the Netherlands. You might say that was ODI's, but in all these cases he led the side well. Anyway, the tour is not over yet and there is still an ODI series up for grabs and I'm really looking forward to it :-)

Such a wise little guy!
BD does not take test cricket seriously anyhow and they are the beating boys for the rest of the world, now Zim has joined that world.
Blame their board and blame the poor preparation, travel arrangements and also the cricketers. Mental attitude and fortitude is the problem for the players, when they can change their mindset and fight back, then they will be on the road to recovery.
I am amazed and happy at the way Zim performed, I am not Bangladeshi, but I support both BD and Zim and i was hoping that Zim will return to test cricket. IMO, they were a far better team than BD, who wins? the team which is better. Also, you guys have discovered some good new players and from now on, there will be good cricket for the Zimbabweans. Best of luck for the pakistani tour

I am a little shocked but I think Zimbabwe out played you and wanted it more than you. I have thought for two years that the Bangladesh team would come good and develope as time went on. I hope that you guys make it in test cricket but at the moment your home cricket system needs to be looked at . You need to unearth players that can build an innings and graft not just fluent stroke makers . Also the need for a decent quick bowler that hurries the opposition. Mpofu intimidated the batsmen your bowlers I am sorry to say did not at all . I am sorry but If you play on spinning tracks and all you can serve up is Razzak then it is very poor. Where is the match winning spinner ?. I don't see a match winning bowl in the ranks and until you get one you wont win many games or even draw.
Your a better one day team but you need some players to show fight.

Very well written.
Unless we build a decent quick bowler and stop relying on the spinners, there is no room for us in Test cricket. We dont need a fluent stroke maker right now but we need someone who has good solidity.

Seriously guys, if we cant beat Zimbabwe, why do we even bother playing test cricket?
Our guys talk a load of rubbish and fail with a whimper.
Congrats to Zimbabwe though, they showed us how test cricket should be played.
