That start from Central Zone reminds me of Bangladesh v Sri Lanka in the 2003 World Cup!

Match has been drawn. Mahmudullah got unbeaten fifties in both innings.

Seems like rubel spending more time on batting than bowling. Wicket less in both innings but his 44 in 100+ delivery in the 2nd innings saved the match for his team.

Hope it doesn't inspire him to be AR now

We should be very concerned about his bowling nowadays. Can't even beg a WK in ncl/bcl

bhai, na jeney kaoke coward bolar moddhey kono birotto nei.
ami janina keno Ryad ke BC te eto pochano hoy ? he is no Mike Hussey but he still is one of our best.
So let's be more supportive please.

Apart from that I also think Ryad enjoys batting at 6 , and nothing wrong with it as long as he performs.

^ what are you telling? Riyad should be dropped for todays batting.. It doesnot matter whether he is injured or not.. He is a professional afterall.
And about batting order, i guess riyad love to play at 5 not 6..

If he is in the team, he should always bat up... Send him low, he will only play a selfish game, but that same selfish game at the top can be useful for the team...So use him at the top (3-5) or drop him...

If he was out of the field with injury....he is restricted by Law... So he had limited choice of coming high up....so it won't be fair to judge his love of batting lower...basing on today's match.

Can people please stop commenting before they know what the situation is? I find it absolutely ridiculous that people are commenting without even watching these matches. I saw people were also calling Mushy similar names when he wasn't batting in the NCL but then we found out he was taken to the hospital due to injury.

I think Robiul has more potential than Abul...but only just! Want to see how Sajidul does this year. And Taskin should have been picked.

we need some more of these kinds of matches where a team in the final innings bats to play out for a draw. we need learn to bat in these match condition. once or twice agaisnt NZ, once against ENG and also this year against WI we had a chance where we could have Drawn the game by batting out more overs and killing more times. but as we dont have the mindset of playing these situations we fail miserably.

except that one game against ZImbabwe. golla and nafees iqbal made an opening partnership where they played out even the 2nd new ball. the Rajin saleh also played a long innings. BD played out almost 5+ sessions to draw that match.

yesterday it was only 37 overs to bat out. but i hope in future there will be games where teams will have to fight and survive for 3+ sessions. these situation are needed for batsman to enhance their skills for grafting in the crease.
