Default 'Who to blame': guilty of the day thread

Lets keep this running for a while. Im sure we will have atleast one to blame for each match. Even if we win or lose.

For todays match i blame the tt(top trio)
Batting:
1. Tamim-gave his wickets away
2. Ash-only he knows what goes into his empty head
3. Shakib- you are not a sloger.. Then why did you even try?
Nb: I don't think its not Rakibul's fault that he plays that way.. ITS OUR GARBAGE HEAD SELECTORS who doesn't know squat about t/20

Bowling:

Don't want want to blame anyone today.

Fielding:
1. Mushfiqur rahim- the modern rajakar

Now the REAL culprit of the day:
ATAHAR ALI- from the moment he started talking, india started to dominate.

..please reveal your guilty of the day...

No one's to blame. Instead of focusing on what's NOT working, we should look at what IS working and slide down that road.

Simple answer. Drop Musfiqur Rahim. Bd would have won many matches last 4 years if he would not keep for bangladesh. simple & straight.

It takes a whole team to win a match and it takes a whole team to lose a match. They should just move and concentrate on winning the match against ireland, so they can progress to the super eight stage.

lot of things to say after todays game,
firstly, our bowling has gone weaker than seven or eight months ago, mainly because of two reasons.
regretfully razzak is no longer as effective as before because for his changed action so we lost our prime spinner and Rasel is out of touch at the moment. his replacement rubel has pace and potential to be a good bowler but he still needs to learn a lot to control his line and length, until than he will go for huge runs everytime. ultimate effect would be we will get bigger target to chase. they used shahadat today and went for runs as usual. you cannot expect better than this from shahadat honestly. naeem is more like a containment bowler and bowling him at the crucial point of the match changed the complexion in the last few matches including this one. all in all we have now only two quality bowler in the line up shakib and mash. which is by no means enough to win matches against big teams.
secondly. mushfique made two lethal mistakes today. we got away with the first one as rohit sharma was bowled out in the immediate next delivery. and we observed the consequence of the second one of letting of yuvraj.
finally, in batting too many orthodox batsmen down the order but we need big hitters in those positions for t20 . no comments about Ashraful as every body knows his temparament in batting. little bit immaturity shown by shakib who started to slog in every ball from the geginning and tamim for misjudgement. only positive is Z got runs after a long time and we desparately needed some contribution from 2nd opening position, hopefully this is just a start.

We should stop this blaming game, a team's failure should'nt be blamed at a player alone, the blame should go to everyone.

1. i will blame team think tank, when they think shahadat cant be used against minnows like netherland and scotland, even against srilanka and aussie in the warm up, they chose him to play against main match. we all know he is not a 20/20 bowler, so why this circus/ when was the last time he finished his quota in one day/20/20. i think even he didnt expect to play today.its like mashrafe's match in IPL.

2. rokibul----is not a t20/20 material. period.
3. mushfiq--- countless time he lost Bd match single handedly
4. sakib---bowling and fielding ok, batting u disappoint us
5.mahmudullah riad---- who ever perform in the warm up match, they dont perform in the real match, he is trying to prove
6. rubel-- just a nervous debutant
7. mashrafe----bowling was okay, batting--simply no
8. tamim----try to play longer innings
9. junaed----only guy should get 100 outof 100
10. nayeem--- i will say 2nd best performer today, he should be promoted batting order
11.ashraful-- should be more responsible, anyway, it was not his eid day

solution, some change can bring positive vibe and stimulation.

tamim
junaed
shamsur rahman shuvo
ashraful
sakib
mithun ali
nayeem
mahmudullah riad
mashrafe
rasel/razzaq
rubel

only with this combo, we can win at this moment.

There are far too many
1) Ashraful - the guys performs once every year and wins us one match and we hail him as Michael Bevan, he needs to be dropped as both captain and a player. He only performs against lesser ranked teams.
2) Shakib - look at his average at T20, he needs to lower down the order. His main role in the team is for bowling, but his batting and shot selection today was horrible. And I was actually comparing his batting technique to Duminy, LOL what I fool I am.
3) Mushfiq - We need a keeper who can keep and bat. We have someone here is only good in cheer leading. Give Mithun a chance.
4) Riyadh - This guy is pathetic. I thought maybe he should play sensibly, but he never performs.
This World Cup is a disaster for me, India is the only team that I wanted my team to beat. But they failed miserably and now Indian fans are mocking over here.

We need a different Team for T20
1) Tamim (give this idiot one more chance, if he fails, we need to find a new slogger)
2) Nazimuddin (he'll be back, a lot better than Ashraful)
3) Junaid
4) Aftab Ahmed
5) Naem Islam
6) Alok Kapali
7) Mithun
8) Shakib Al Hasan
9) Mashrafe
10) Nazmul Hossain
11) Rafique

12) Rubel ( he needs to perform much better in domestic) he has a bright future, but looking dim right now
13) Shariar Nafees
14) Riyadh
15) Abdur Razzak
16) Shahadat
17) Shamsur

We should totally kick ash and mush from the team. two good for nothing players

shoitan pola Mushfiq is very annoying behind the wickets. He should be focusing on how to stump people instead of trying to act like a cheap cheerleader.

Captaincy was somewhat to be blamed.

When UV was blasting Rubel, it took 6, 4, 4, before short third man was placed to third man. The next delivery was for one. The six and the fours were leg side boundaries. Everyone could see Rubel was struggling with the line. Why not push back the short third man to third man. All they could muster a single then and UV would have been off the strike. Ghambir was struggling. These simple things can not be taught to those who don't want to learn.

i will where it went wrong...

the way zunaid was going we would been non for 100..if tamim didn't charge...would have been a different story.. we can't do those sorts things anymore..i think we havn't had enough exeperience domestically chasing score n wen a batsman come in he should think how he going about the remianing score.....certainly not mushfiq and raqib...

Blaming people won't solve anything. They were the better team today and I think we're making too much of a fuss of this defeat. Just move on, focus on beating Ireland and take it from there.
