Pretty decent squad selected. I would add Nasir, Taskin, Abul to make the WC side complete.

This series for Tamim iqbal to bring him self back in odi. Also for new comers. Nasir will get chance and he need to capitalize that.

Another good work by BC bhai
although I would hope Zim to be very hard to beat in this format but the warm up result tells otherwise.

Watchout Zim : Masakadza , Sikandar box , Chaka washing powder .
Watchout BD : Abul

Last chance to lock in a partner for Tamim between the likes of Shamsur, Kayes and Anamul. I wonder if think-tank would consider Anamul down the order by pushing Ryad up.
Last chance for Shabbir to do something and Nasir to make a comeback.

At this point anamul should be the clear 2nd opener with shamsur being back up opener, after them I'd be looking at liton but certainly for now it should be anamul with his 3 ODI tons.

Shabbir Rahman is a bad choice to come in at no.7, but Nasir should be given a game or two after we win three matches in this series so that he can come to form. In the mean time Mahmudullah can be tried as "the finisher". Also, 3 pace bowlers with Sakib+Mahmudullah+ Sunny+ Mominul as spin option to be accommodated keeping World Cup in Australia condition in mind.

Anamul scored a century just two matches ago in an ODI in West Indies. The reason Anamul, who scored 3 ODI centuries so far as an opener, should come at 3 is that his technique against swinging new ball warrants a lot more work, though his hand-eye coordination is superb.

I suspect KaEdge might not be able to deliver in the long run. In that case Anamul should open in ODIs with Mominul coming at 3 and lets hope the best for Nasir to convince the selectors that he's back to form- given a chance probably at the final ODI against Zimbabwe.

My team for the first two ODI would be - 1) Tamim Iqbal 2) Imrul Kayes 3) Anamul Haque 4) Mominul Hoque 5) Sakib Al Hasan 6) Mushfiqur Rahim 7) Mahmudullah 8) Mashrafee Mortaza 9) Sabbir Rahman / Rubel Hussain 10) Arafat Sunny 11) Al-Amin Hussain.

I hope we give Mominul a go, and no point getting him to bat at 6 or 7, he needs to bat as high as possible. Only thing is the guy has to figure out his strike rotation which has been his main obstacle in shorter formats.

But Mominul in the team would mean either Anamul sits out or Kayes is dropped.

Bijoy is simply not good enough technicaly to face the slightest of swing and bounce. Litton and Shadman should be groomed they both look exciting prospects and more importantly look consistent.

My team:
Bolod Iqbal Khan
Anamul /Imrul
Mominul
Mushy
Shakib
Riyad
Sabbir
Mash
Jubair
Arafat
Ala Amin.

This is a very balanced side. Zimbabwe will feel the killing instinct tomorrow.

I also think Anamul looks really helpless in the beginning of his innings due to his poor lack of footwork
