Default Bangladesh U-19 vs. Ireland U-19

Are we gonna lose?..if we do...we will play against Australia in the semi-final.

Default we already lost

since they are in plate. it doesn't realy matter anymore whether they win or lose. they can't be plate champion anyway. leave that for aus. so, nothing to really worry about.

.....if we do, we really should stop playing cricket for some few years to make sure that we will have enough time to learn some basics of cricket.

I don't know about pessimism, But realism (reality) is that we will have to play really well to beat Ireland! But I think we are capable of doing that.

This is very silly reasoning. I wonder if australia will stop playing cricket and start learning the basics once their u-19 fails to win the plate championship. Being passionate supporter is one thing being unreasonable is totally differant.

Not to forget Australia is the WORLD CHAMPIAN!

I think we are being to hard onthe U-19 team.

Cheers,
pavs

Are we comparing Australia with BD only because they are playing in the Plate? Australia is here only because of NRR after losing only a single game. Not because they lost all there games. They had only one single bad day, otherwise they showed there strength.

BD is the only Test playing country in this competition who has failed to defeat any other test playing country. All others, including Nepal and Zimbabwe, beat at least one other Test playing country.

When we are afraid to win against Ireland, with 7 players in our squad having experienced with First class, 3 of them having a batting avg. of more than 40, 3 of them having played in Test, its a pity.

Look at the other teams please, except India and pakistan, they dont have many players who have any first class experience. SA has none, Australia has none (well, one player played a single match scoring 4), NZ has none.

With a team with experienced and proved players, no wins against any real team, whereas we even endeavor to win against canada or uganda, its not so easy to be optimistic.

No matter how bad you try to potray the BD U-19 team, these are still not enough to justify "we really should stop playing cricket for some few years .." And how do you learn, wheather it is basic or not, if you don't play?

Yupe, that was poor reasoning.

Dear Chinaman,

It took me a week you make you understand how to calculate NRR. Neither will I try to explain something to you again, nor I think I have that aptitude.
