Default The choice is yours: Atheletic fielders but poor batsman or better batsman but non-atheletic fielders?

This is a good challenge for the selectors. Ehsanul Haque, Mohammad Ashraful, Talha Jubair who are 3 among 4 national discards who had enough chances at the International stage, not to mention that they are relatively better fielders (Ashraful is certainly a much fielder in particular).

But the thing is that they're poor batsman or poor bowlers.

Now here is an alternative - Mazharul Haque Mridul, who got only 1 chance for Bangladesh National Team and was out for 0, in an ODI, he scored the top score of 41 - at least among the top 6 batsman.

And he is not such a good fielder, I would tell you to compare his physique with a younger version of Akram Khan, probably only a few inches shorter than him. I've seen him field, in short, he struggles to move his body to field.

At this moment, we are not in need of a specialist middle order batsman, but it gives food for thought for the selectors or the BCB people who have arranged this match of BCBXI versus England national team's practice match.

By the way, this is not the first time that Mazharul Haque has scored some runs against an International team.

He was also the best batsman of Bangladesh besides Akram Khan in BD 'A''s West Indies tour in Busta Cup in the year 2002 January. Don't forget, Hannan Sarkar was playing in that Busta cup tournament, and didn't perform even as much better as Mazharul Haque or Akram Khan. But now here is Hannan Sarkar, on his way to keeping his opening position of Bangladesh a permanent for him - for a long, long time.

What is worst is that Mazharul Haque has scored those runs (41 runs) off only 57 balls.

Talha Jubir isn't discarded, he is preparing for the youth world cup. Taposh Baysha would have been discarded before him... coz he is waaay better.
