With all those new explosive allegations in news media, it looks like the Ash's legacy is already being re-written....its a matter to few days before its official. And some fans are still in denial mode....that's fine.... I can wait few more days.... but symptom is not good at all.

And last prothom alo article is a bomb...

If all thats being said is true.. he would have no legacy other than being called, the disgraced "Ashed-Fool" Betrayer.. Would be an ending indeed but he will take down few more with him!!

Even if he turns out to be a chùr, his legacy won't a chor legacy, or a betrayer or traitor. He will be known as a major ahammok, even more so than how he was on the field. He can't do anything right. If he was going bad, he should've gone badest of the bad. If we were to transform this into a cricket inning, we'd witness Ash's ugliest inning. His SR would've been about 43.68, which is worse than Imrul Kayes, plus 5 dropped regulation catches.

Nothing new.... it would be the next version of ICL saga... but bigger mess. Only this time he may not get out of this mess unharmed like last time.

As far as i can remember, backed out at the very last minute. But he introduced players to the ICL owner or something.

Yes. According to publsihed news at that time:
a) His indian agent first approached him about joining ICL. His indian agent was the channel to ICL.
b) Ashraful decided to join.
c) He introduced other potential players to his agent. Some agreed and signed contract.
d) At the last moment (unknown/unpublished reason) Ashraful chickened out but left other players high and dry and their career screwed up at the end.
e) Ashraful got a freindly slap in his hand for not notifing to BCB first and was let go with basically no punishment.

These should all be there somewhere in some threads for you to revisit.

100% correct. Habibul Bashar played a big role as well, mind you. He was sacked as a captain prior to that and we all know how he felt about that.

BCB upon finding it told him he will get an ipl contract and thus kept him from leaving. and he did get the mumbai contract the next season... Now i can see why some players wanted him in the team always and i thought they are saying that from a cricketing point... I know nothing but that i know nothing

now i can guess why some selectors had always wanted him in the team.

its only a guess, since the names of pilot, rofique and sujon has come up; its not impossible that their predecessors are completely unaware of the dark world of cricket

Hoping that Ashraful's legacy end like this: "He is the father of Ashraful Jr, who fulfilled his father's unfullfilfed expectation from fans plus more".

But to happen that, first thing first. When is he going to marry?

Maybe become a politician like Azharuddin one day? He has got the crying and begging part down. Now, all he has to do is do the same in front of voters. Don't tell me sympathy doesn't go a long way in our politics. Zia r bou, Bongobondhu r meye, Saad Ershad er baba- all doing fine.
